Jia Yan did not speak.
No matter what methods the other side might use, there was no way he would speak, even if this Avatar were to be killed by the other side, he still wouldnât speak.
Because the loss of an Avatar is bearable for him.
"Oh, you wonât speak, huh? Alright then, lock him up inside your palace. In a couple of days, Iâll take him back for further interrogation. We have ways to make him talk over there."
This Divine Spirit Creature seemed uninterested in Jia Yanâs identity.
Thinking logically, heâs here to investigate âJia Yan,â not to target any other Outsider for some different purpose.
The reasons for such Outsiders are often simple, such as seeking some profit; attacking this Starfield is impossible.
If it were a different level of scout, it would not be as sloppy as this Outsider, who seems almost like heâs joking.
Hence, he paid no mind to Jia Yan and followed the Demigod Overlord into the palace.
Before leaving, the palace overlord glanced at Jia Yan and sneered.
This remark seemed to imply that despite Jia Yanâs previous prestige, standing before a Divine Spirit now, he was still caught.
Jia Yan showed little change in expression.
He actually had some means of self-preservation, but chose not to use them; even if his Avatar was lost, he didnât want to use important powers like his Subspace Talent, which might expose his identity.
Additionally, during those moments, his True Body was cultivating at a crucial juncture elsewhere.
Thatâs right, his True Body was cultivating again.
Previously, his True Body absorbed a wave of mysterious matter from the black hole, which reacted intriguingly with the antimatter-like substance within Jia Yanâs cells.
This astonished Jia Yan greatly, hence he focused his mind on his True Body.
This caused his Avatarâs strength to weaken, leading to its suppression.
Now that the Divine Spirit was suppressing Jia Yanâs Avatar with brainwave power, the Divine Spirit joined the Demigod Overlord inside the palace for a gradual enlightenment.
What they didnât know was that the Avatar was not angry; he sat cross-legged on the ground, closing his eyes.
His mind was fully directed towards his True Body.
"Ah, this power, surprisingly has an exceedingly clever reaction with the antimatter trait in my body."
On the True Body side, the changes in his physical form brought immense joy to Jia Yan.
The antimatter trait of his body, to Jia Yan, was an exceedingly wondrous thing.
However, up until now, such a trait had been quite weak, though Jia Yan had created the Yin Yang System relying on this substance, it could not increase the substance nor achieve a true balance of Yin and Yang with the regular matter within his body.
But now, he discovered that the substance from the black hole could act as a mysterious neutralizer, progressively smoothing out the differences between regular matter and antimatter, thus allowing Jia Yan to become a being harmoniously balanced with regular and antimatter.
How could this not make him delighted?
"Haha, if balanced, my strength, not to mention handling a title of Divine King, has a fair chance of soaring to the heavens."
The eyes of the True Body glowed with joy but soon dimmed.
"But itâs no use, thereâs not much of this black hole substance available, and even if there were, I couldnât absorb it quickly in this short time. Alas."
Inside the giant cocoon-like formation, a terrifying and enormous body shook its head helplessly.
"Nevertheless, even though it cannot drastically strengthen my power temporarily, it can significantly accelerate the emergence from this mutation. It may still augment my power, and post-emergence, I might indeed possess crushing power over even the Divine King."
Jia Yan smiled faintly.
Then the body within the cocoon quickly began devouring the black substance; even though there wasnât much of it, as per Jia Yanâs plan, as long as he could quickly devour them, he could essentially emerge.
Moreover, his power would be greater than initially planned post-emergence.
"All right, True Body is nearly ready to emerge, and once it does, it will bring significant improvement to the Avatarâs power as well."
"After all, a Middle Level Stellar Avatar compared to an Early stage Avatar, is a different concept altogether, not to mention the True Body can transmit power to the Avatar via the quantum channel."
The Avatar on this side also smiled slightly.
Sensing that his True Body was soon to become more powerful than anticipated at the Middle Level Stellar, he realized that should the neutralizing substance meet his expectations, the Avatar would ascend with chickens and dogs to heaven...
Achieving strength comparable to or surpassing a Divine Spirit would no longer be a dream.
Thus, he waited for it.
"Previously, it was thought that losing this Avatar wouldnât matter, but now that thereâs a chance, it mustnât die, for losing an Avatar is exceedingly wasteful. You must know that these Avatars are different from those when first acquired; theyâve been cultivated along with my True Bodyâs power, each oneâs strength has greatly advanced, creating them anew in the Country of Taia would fall short by a great margin."
Regarding the Avatar, Jia Yan felt that if given the chance, it must be handled well, as cultivating the Avatar to this degree wasnât easy.
Thus, heâs contemplating whether to use the True Bodyâs imminent breakthrough strength to enable this Avatar to survive.
"Ha-ha...If thereâs truly no alternative, should I unleash the True Body?"
"No, the mutated True Bodyâs strength is still unknown, I canât risk exposing the True Body."
"So all things considered, the Avatar is left to resolve this itself. With notably greater strength than my True Body, they surely wonât suspect this Avatar as me, right?"
"Besides, itâs uncertain whether exposure will happen then; simply ensure the clean-up is handled well."
After deliberating for some time, Jia Yan stopped worrying about other matters, focusing entirely on his True Body, leaving the Avatar side to remain suppressed by the Divine Spiritâs power.
"Ha-ha, look, thatâs the big guest we welcomed days ago; wasnât he flaunting here on this nameless star? Even our Master showed great respect. But before a Divine Spirit Lord, isnât he still subdued like this?"
While Jia Yan silently awaited with closed eyes, enormous Servants strode continuously past him.
They were the palaceâs Servants, well aware and wary of Jia Yan, the âdistinguished guestâ at the palace for two days.
Yet the moment the Divine Spirit emerged and subdued this so-called guest without delay, their perception of this guest shifted to slight disdain.
Despite hearing their sarcasm, Jia Yan did not react, causing these subordinates to increasingly believe this once mighty presence was humbled by the Divine Spirit.
In reality, was Jia Yan humbled?
No.
The Divine Spirit remained in no hurry to oppress Jia Yan, conspicuously sparing this tiny demigod who supposedly had prestige on this planet.
Such Outsiders certainly possess arrogance, first suppress them, then conveniently bring them back for focused dealing.
Three days later, pampered profusely by the palaceâs demigod Master, the colossal Divine Spirit Creature finally remembered Jia Yan.
"Itâs time to check on this Outsider; hope heâs not been crushed directly to death by my brainwave power?"
"My God Lord, even if dead, he deserved it; for such Outsiders, thereâs no one to stand for them."
A Demigod and a Divine Spirit chatted and laughed as they flew from the palace to where Jia Yan was oppressed, thirty kilometers away.
As they approached, that small demigod-level creature, still subdued, raised its head calmly, glancing at the two immense beings flying towards him.
Then, from his mouth, a word escaped...
"Explode!"
