Make a move?
Are you crazy? Youâre at most a semi-permanent star level existence, what does your move matter in such a war?!
The captain almost spat out old blood.
He knew that this battleship housed an extremely powerful entity, a strong one who might be the most terrifying existence in the Orion Arm in his eyes.
But in this battlefield dominated by the Biochemical Star Region and the Empire, as a captain of an Orion Arm battleship, he was well aware that even the strong ones from the Orion Arm were insignificant here. Without the Mosquito Patriarch and his subordinates, the Orion Arm would be nothing more than an ant between these two great Starfields.
So when this being at most semi-permanent star level stated he would "make a move", the captain almost let out a phrase.
And he wanted to say: "Buddy, youâve been pretending to be a master the whole way, can we stop pretending now, please."
On a truly terrifying battlefield, not to mention a regular semi-permanent star level being, even a pseudo stellar level existence might not have a significant impact. Only stellar-level strong ones have a chance to dominate a region of the battlefield.
But can the Orion Arm find a stellar-level being?
Only the Mosquito Patriarchâs subordinates are stellar-level, and theyâve jumped right to Middle Level stellar, without a single one at Junior Stellar Class. Below that, the top strong ones of the Orion Arm donât even have a semi-permanent star level being, this talent gap is frightening and leaves the Orion Arm with only nominal influence in the war between the Biochemical Star Region and the Empire.
The semi-permanent star level creature in front of him should be from the Biochemical Star Region. To the fleet-commanding captain, the Biochemical Star Region wasnât a good place, and the strong ones there werenât to his liking because in previous wars, many of his friends and comrades had died at the hands of such strong beings.
"My Lord, I believe our strength is insufficient to deal with the level of the new frontline, so we should stick to the original mission plan and go where we need to go."
The captain said this to the Giant Ape creature in front of him.
"Oh? You think so? But I still insist on my opinion. Forget it, since you are unwilling to go, Iâll go myself. Just stop the battleship, please."
Saying this, the monkey-like creature went towards the battleshipâs bridge, preparing to disembark.
"My Lord, your actions put us in a difficult position."
The captain didnât expect the strong one in his battleship to be so determined and it was obviously a suicidal mission, yet he insisted. Was he pretending to be strong for so long that he believed it himself?
"Iâm giving you two choices: one, take me there, or two, stop the ship and let me disembark. I hope you wonât make a third choice wherein I destroy the ship and leave myself."
The Giant Ape seemed unwilling to say much more to the captain, speaking coldly.
Indeed, Jia Yan didnât put too much energy into this avatar. The fact that he said this much was already giving enough face.
"Well... alright, my Lord, weâll turn back. Iâll let the soldiers on this battleship accompany you to die."
The captain, seeing Jia Yanâs determination, gritted his teeth and made this decision.
"Oh? Youâre not bad, quite bold."
Jia Yan looked at this captain, feeling a bit surprised.
To him, his decision was natural because he knew his own strength, but it was commendable that the captain dared to follow without knowing the true power of Jia Yanâs avatar.
"Itâs just that in the last war, I fled with my subordinates, and then my comrades and friends died in the Orion Arm defense. I donât want to feel that way again, I donât want to be a Retractable Turtle."
"Very well, then letâs move out. Trust me, you wonât be disappointed."
Jia Yan nodded, not interested in asking further about the captainâs story because he knew that every warrior on this battlefield had their own tales to tell.
The Superfast Battleship continued sailing forward.
Soon, flashes and explosions appeared before their eyes in the starry sky.
The entire stretch of space bore the scars of war.
"Weâre here. Is this the Empireâs fleet? What terrifying strong ones."
Upon the arrival of this Superfast Battleship, the battle had reached a shocking intensity.
Many Biochemical Star Region fleet controlled by the Orion Arm, as well as the civilian fleets from the Biochemical Star Region who voluntarily came to resist the Empire, were fighting bravely.
In contrast, the Orion Arm fleet found it difficult to get involved due to their significantly weaker strength, both in terms of strong individuals and technological level of the ships. They were relegated to occasionally shooting once or twice at isolated enemy units.
However, among the Orion Armâs participating forces, there was indeed a pivotal figure.
This figure was none other than Jia Yan Squadâs strong ones, or rather the temporarily strongest in Jia Yan Squad holding the line on this frontline.
