"Hmm..." Javier nodded. "I believe itās time for Armand to advance our healing methods beyond conventional magic healing, integrating more advanced techniques and tools that set our healers apart from others."
"That would be a good idea," Myra said softly. "And Iām particularly interested in those cubes, the defibrillator, and that unique monocle you used."
"Donāt worry. Iāll discuss it with Father. Now, please go and inform Erinette to find a suitable room for the operation. And if thereās no suitable room or any other issue, let me know. Also, ensure Erinette assigns two battle maids and two elite guards to be ready."
"As you wish, Your Highness." Myra bowed gracefully before walking slowly toward the double door.
"Oh, Myra?" Javier glanced at her.
Myra paused and turned back to look at him. "Yes, Your Highness?"
"Tell your team to be ready. You and they will be the first to learn about the operation procedures and assist with the healing skills required."
After watching Myra leave the room, Liana glanced at where Gracelle was resting, her eyes lingering on the oxygen mask covering her nose and mouth, the wires connected to monitoring devices, and the IV bag hanging beside the bed, slowly dripping fluid into her arm.
"Young Master?"
"Hmm?" Javier, still resting his chin on Lianaās shoulder, glanced at her ear. "Yes, Liana?"
"What are those?" Liana gestured with her lips toward the tools attached to Gracelleās body.
Javier smiled and began explaining softly. "Thatās an oxygen mask, it helps her breathe more easily. The wires connect to monitors that track her heart rate, mana flow, and other vital signs. And the bag hanging there is an IV, delivering fluids and nutrients directly into her bloodstream to support her body while sheās unconscious."
Liana leaned forward and turned toward Javier, narrowing her eyes playfully.
"How do you know about all of these things?" she asked, raising a finger and pointing it playfully at him with a slight smirk. "From what I know, thereās no record of such knowledge. Itās something entirely new."
Javier chuckled softly and smiled, leaning in until their noses touched. "You forget Iām a genius?"
"Really? Hmm?" Liana smiled and narrowed her eyes further, her expression skeptical.
"Yeah." Javier smiled. "You donāt need to worry about that. You know how I am, always researching and inventing. Just like Father, whoās always running simulations and planning ahead in his mind, I do the same. The difference is, I focus on invention and knowledge, while Father focuses on strategy and governance."
Liana turned and leaned back against Javierās body, resting her head on his shoulder.
"Do you think she will survive?"
Javier smiled faintly. "Letās hope so. Sheās already survived for more than four years, and she just pulled through the revival process earlier."
Liana glanced at Gracelle. "Young Master?"
"Hmm?" Javier tilted his head and looked at her. "Yes, Liana?"
Liana smiled softly. "Nothing."
"Really? Hmm?" Javier narrowed his eyes playfully.
Liana slowly slipped off Javierās lap and stood up.
"Where are you going, Liana?"
Liana smiled. "Iām going to check on Myra and my co-wives. Why?" She narrowed her eyes playfully.
"Oh..." Javier smiled faintly and snapped his fingers. Two of his latest puppet knights materialized beside Liana.
"Liana?"
"Yes, Young Master?" Liana smiled and shook her head as the two puppet knights stood a bit too close to her.
"Be careful. And donāt be careless." Javierās expression turned serious. "I donāt want anything happening to you."
"Donāt worry, Young Master." She glanced at him with a playful glare. "If youāre really worried about everyone, you should summon more of these." Liana gave a sidelong glance at the puppet knights near her. "To protect everyone, especially your family and girls~"
Javier leaned back in his chair and stretched his arms up. "Well... you donāt need to worry about that." He looked at Liana with a confident smile. "Because theyāre already surrounding this entire estate."
Outside.
Mathrias Estate.
Mathrias guards watched as the area filled with Armandās super-elite soldiers, clad in sleek, advanced armor and carrying weapons they had never seen before.
One of the guards standing with his partner near the door leaned in and whispered.
"Look at their weapons and armor."
"Yeah..." the other whispered back. "Itās something I donāt think weāll ever get a chance to use."
The first guard nodded, his eyes fixed on the unique weapons, shields, and what looked like a blade integrated into the armor.
They kept their eyes on one soldier patrolling the area.
"Look at their helmet. Too cool, man."
"I wonder how the person inside looks."
"Must be huge, huh."
"Yeah. I was surprised when they suddenly appeared."
"Looks like Armand doesnāt take any chances when their King Garius is here."
"Yeah. Especially when heās with the Queen and the Prince."
"I wonder where our lord is right now."
"Who knows. But from what I heard, our lord sent a request for help because the neighboring regions are preparing something. Thatās why King Garius is here."
"Yeah... if Armand comes to help, weāre at least saved."
Another guard nearby slowly moved closer to them, joining the hushed conversation.
"What are you two talking about?"
The two of them glanced at him and shook their heads.
"Weāre talking about Armandās troops, man. Look at that one. The armor looks cool. I wonder if itās heavy." He said while glancing down at his own simple leather and chainmail armor.
"Yeah... we both wonder when weāll get a chance to wear something like that. But you know, full plate armor like that one... well, not that cool-looking like theirs." The second guard gestured toward the sleek, futuristic armor of the Armand soldiers.
"Heh... if you want to wear that type of armor, go and join the knights, then." The third guy smirked while holding his pike.
"No way. Knights are often sent first to handle monsters or into battle. Nope... no way." The first guard shook his head.
The second guard smirked. "Anyway, did you see the Armand maids that came with their king? And their female officers?"
The first guard looked at him. "Err... they have?"
The third guy shook his head and smirked. "You seriously didnāt see them?"
"Err... no... why?" The first guard scratched his head while still holding his pike.
The third and second guard smirked. "Oh~ if you saw how beautiful they are..."
"But we also have beautiful maids, right?" the first guard asked.
The two of them widened their eyes and let out a long exhale. "Yeah, but only one or two. This is a dozen of them. Man... Armand is really different, huh?"
"Yeah. Sometimes I wonder if Armand is full of beauties."
"Who knows." The second guard smirked. "When I have the chance, I might go sightseeing there."
