"Okay, I’ll go right away." Lin Wan smiled and quickly went to prepare Little Star’s things.

These boats require manual rowing, definitely a job for the three men.

"Quick, everyone, hurry up! Those who can swim, jump in quickly." The others swiftly rowed their boats over.

"You ladies better sit tight," Zhang Hanfu and the others quickly had the women sit tight first, ensuring their safety.

Lin Wan’s whole mind was on Han Yi. Fortunately, the water wasn’t deep, and as soon as he reached the spot, Han Yi lifted a long-haired foreign woman out of the water.

Having been submerged for some time, the woman seemed weak but appeared to be breathing. By then, two other people who had jumped in had also arrived.

Together with Han Yi, they helped lift the woman onto the foreigner’s boat.

The group, who had originally gone out to enjoy themselves, ended up cutting their outing short because Han Yi was soaked.

They decided to go directly to Lin Wan’s house to have dumplings.

"Are you cold? I wish there were clothes for sale nearby," Lin Wan worriedly said while looking at Han Yi’s soaked clothes. "It’s almost summer, it won’t be cold, just wet. It’ll dry off soon enough. Let’s not let my situation spoil anyone’s mood."

"We’re out here to relax, it’s the same anywhere. Besides, it’s been a while since we had dumplings. Let’s have lunch at your place," Liu Wei insisted, clapping Han Yi on the shoulder.

Not hesitating, everyone quickly set off back home.

Just then, the foreign couple, Mei and Jason, caught up with them.

"Please stay, sir," the man said. "Sir, sir, please wait. Thank you for saving me today, we still don’t know your name yet," the foreign woman spoke some Chinese, which Lin Wan noticed. The man didn’t know any.

"It was just a small gesture, don’t worry about it," Han Yi replied in English.

The foreigner finally found a kindred spirit and excitedly rattled off a string of English to Han Yi. Lin Wan could vaguely understand; he was asking Han Yi for travel advice.

Seeing Han Yi’s adorable bewilderment, Lin Wan discreetly covered her mouth to stifle a laugh. Han Yi could indeed speak English, but having spent years in the military mostly going to remote places, his experience wasn’t of much help.

"Huh? Miss, you can understand what my dear is saying? You know our language?" said the woman named Mei, noticing Lin Wan.

"Oh, just a bit. My husband and I learned some English over time."

"That’s wonderful, May," she said, pointing to the foreign man beside her, "Jason, my dear."

Lin Wan freed a hand and shook Mei’s hand in a Chinese manner, "Lin Wan, my husband Han Yi. Our baby, Han Xingyue."

"Oh my God, your baby is so adorable," Mei exclaimed.

Lin Wan modestly replied in English with a thank you. This was her first time conversing with foreigners.

They chatted for a bit and found out they were here traveling. Originally a group of six, they had gotten separated from their friends. Now, they were sightseeing while also trying to reunite with their friends.

After some conversation, they discovered that the foreigners were headed to H City.

So Lin Wan drew them a route on the spot, advising them to take the number 2 bus directly to H City tomorrow.

After their talk, the man named Jason somehow took a photo of the three of them, saying it was for remembering their lifesavers back home.

After parting with the two foreigners, their friends looked at Han Yi and Lin Wan in astonishment.

"Han Yi, Lin Wan, you two are impressive. Your English is quite good," Zhang Hanfu said enviously.
