When the older sister and brother-in-law had a fight, they couldn’t just ignore it and quickly followed Wang Yuan.

As they entered the room, their cousin was crying, but the room wasn’t as messy as one might expect.

Wasn’t there supposed to be a fight? How is it still so tidy?

Lin Wan looked at her brother-in-law puzzledly, while Wang Yuan sighed, at a loss for words.

Couples fighting is never a good thing. Fortunately, the sister is a rational person, so she didn’t shout. But just now while in the room, Lin Yuan was interrogating him, and he stubbornly refused to admit anything. In a moment of rage, she scratched him a few times without caring about anything, and then sat on the sofa crying.

No matter how they tried to console her, she wouldn’t respond. Suddenly, she said she wanted a divorce.

This scared Wang Yuan to no end. They had grown up as childhood sweethearts and liking each other counted as mutual; they had never raised their voices after marriage, nor had they quarreled.

Who knows what happened today; his wife, who usually came home after work in the afternoon, suddenly returned with a stern face at noon and started bombarding him with questions, leaving him dizzy. It wasn’t until the end that he understood what was going on.

"Let me tell you, Wang Yuan, even if you call my sister over, it won’t help. You’re going to submit an application report for me tomorrow. I won’t live with you anymore."

"Honey, stop this nonsense. I swear to God, I’ve never betrayed you. Don’t act so inexplicably, okay?"

"Me inexplicable?" Lin Yuan glared at Wang Yuan angrily, tears streaming down her eyes. "The other woman has already come to find me, and you still say it’s inexplicable. I want to ask you, what are you up to?"

"Who came?" Wang Yuan was truly bewildered, he had no idea at all.

"Who else, your lover."

"I haven’t got one."

"You..."

Lin Wan saw her cousin standing up looking like she was about to eat her brother-in-law alive and quickly moved forward to persuade, "Sister, sister, don’t get worked up. Let’s talk it out properly. Tell me, which woman came to you?"

"He knows perfectly well."

"Hey, honey. I honestly haven’t got anything going on with any woman. I swear, truly, from childhood to now, there’s only been you. Really."

Han Yi listened to Wang Yuan’s words. A faint smile tugged at his lips, but after glancing at his cousin, he furrowed his brows and quickly held him down by the shoulder to sit him down.

"Let’s talk properly. Only by airing it all out can we find a solution, right? Sister, who told you that brother-in-law has another woman?" Han Yi asked.

"This morning, I was concentrating on treating patients, and suddenly a female patient came in. She handed me a test result showing she was pregnant with Wang Yuan’s child and warned me to divorce Wang Yuan immediately."

"What?" Wang Yuan jumped as soon as he heard that. "I did not! Who is she? Who is that woman? I’m going to find her."

"Cousin, do you know that woman?" Lin Wan frowned and asked.

"Yangyang’s homeroom teacher. I know her. Wang Yuan, do you have anything left to say? Nice job, hiding it so well. Tell me, when did this start, and how long have you been seeing each other behind my back?"

"Honey, I swear, I’ve only seen Yangyang’s homeroom teacher twice. We’re not even close. I don’t even know her full name. How could there be anything between us? This must be a misunderstanding."

"If there’s really nothing between you, why would she specifically say it’s yours out of so many people?"

"How would I know that? No way, I have to find her. I need to question exactly what’s going on," Wang Yuan said as he was about to walk out.

Han Yi quickly pulled him back, "Brother-in-law, calm down. From what sister said, there’s something strange about this. Tell me the truth, is there anything going on?"

"Xiao Yi, I swear, I’ve never done anything dirty. That homeroom teacher Yuan mentioned, I’ve only seen her twice, both times when picking up Yangyang, just exchanging a hello."

"Brother-in-law, really nothing happened?" Lin Wan asked doubtfully.

"Really nothing, and I can’t even remember when those meetings were. Oh, right. The second time I saw her, it rained, and I happened to have an extra umbrella. I lent it to her, that’s all. Now that you mention it, she hasn’t returned it yet."
