"Stop playing dumb," Lin Wan scolded him with a smile, then asked, "Has Grandma woken up?"
"Not yet. But she had a full body check-up this morning. Grandma already had trouble with her legs, and this time she probably hurt something important when she fell. The doctor says the outlook isnāt optimistic."
She had just heard her aunt say, "Ai Yi, itās okay, we are here. If Grandma really canāt move, weāll take care of her. We definitely wonāt let Grandma suffer any indignity."

When they got connected to her dadās phone, they found out he was at the department.
When Dad heard that Grandma was sick, he said heād bring Mom over to visit tomorrow.
Lin Wan didnāt stop them. After hanging up, Han Yi took her back to the ward.
They didnāt mention anything about paying the fees, and planned to deny it if it was discovered.
Mother-in-law didnāt expect she would come over, thinking she should rest at home with her big belly and because it was cold.
No one expected sheād come on her own.
Because her other uncle had just scolded her, her aunt had quieted down a bit.
At noon, her cousin and his wife brought over some food for them. But it was all soup, just in case Grandma woke up.
As the day was about to end and everyone was worried, Grandma finally moved and gained consciousness a little after five in the afternoon.
It made the family overjoyed, and they quickly went to get a doctor to check her.
When they heard the doctor say that she was out of danger, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Grandma sighed, dazed for a moment, then remembered. "Look at me, causing trouble for you guys in this cold weather. How could I be so careless?... Why is everyone here?" Grandma said, glancing around the room. When she saw her and Han Yi, she quickly reached out and said, "Xiao Yi, Xiao Wan, youāre back too? I just took a fall, your uncle also, how did he call you all over?"
"Grandma, I just happened to have a break and planned to come see you," Han Yi held Grandmaās hand, feeling uncomfortable seeing Grandma, who used to be plump, now withered down in just a few days.
"Why come back? Itās cold here, and Xiao Wan is pregnant. Youāre just running around for nothing."
"Grandma, donāt blame Ai Yi. I asked her to bring me back because I missed you. Who knew youād be so careless, taking a tumble that worried us to death. Grandma, do you feel uncomfortable anywhere now?"
"Yeah, Mom, if anythingās uncomfortable, you must tell us," her aunt and other aunt said, walking to the bedside.
"Iām not uncomfortable, Iām very well," Grandma smiled. She didnāt notice anything amiss.
Her cousinās wife quickly asked if Grandma was hungry. The doctor said she could have some soup after waking up.
She shouldnāt eat too much, as more tests were scheduled for tomorrow.
With Grandma awake, the family finally felt relieved. But Grandma wasnāt aware of her leg condition yet.
Her other uncle, seeing her uncle come over after work, quickly pulled him outside.
