When Xinyan came in, everyone was in the middle of a lively discussion.

Last time you said the office desks and chairs there would be distributed to the various factories later, so I’ve already asked the carpenters to rush on the new desks and chairs according to the drawings you gave before.

Oh, and the lobby on the first floor has already been installed as you requested. When you have time, you should go take a look yourself and see if there’s anything that needs changing. It should all be finished by mid-June."

Xinyan nodded. "I’ll go take a look next weekend. Keep a close eye on things over there. After the renovation’s done, we still have to leave it empty for a while and let the smell dissipate before we move in."

As She spoke, everyone had already consciously taken their seats.

Ling Tianze said respectfully, "Alright, I’ll keep a close watch."

After they finished talking about the office building, Xinyan turned to Qi Baocheng. "Brother Qi, how are things going over at Chongyang Mountain Villa?"

Qi Baocheng was now fully in charge of the affairs at Chongyang Mountain Villa. "According to your instructions, the two newly contracted mountain tops have all been planted with medicinal herbs. I hired professionals from the agricultural academy to guide us, and the herbs are growing very well now.

Once this batch of herbs matures, our cosmetics company shouldn’t need to purchase from outside anymore."

Xinyan picked up the cup at hand. "Not bad. How’s the communication with the government on the leisure resort project I mentioned last time?"

Qi Baocheng stood up and handed over the materials in his hand. "The talks are basically done, but the specific contracted area and term haven’t been finalized yet. I’ll be following up closely in the near future."

Xinyan laughed. "Ever since I sent you to that training course, even the way you talk sounds more professional."

Qi Baocheng said somewhat embarrassed, "You spent real money to send me there, I can’t waste such a good opportunity. Of course I had to learn something and bring it back."

Xinyan looked at everyone with a smile. "So practice is important, but learning is indispensable. When there’s a chance in the future, I’ll arrange for everyone to attend training one after another. We have to keep up with the times and move forward with them."

Ling Tianze continued, "People always say ’live and learn,’ and society is changing by the day now. If you don’t study, you’ll fall behind. Falling behind means being surpassed by others, which means survival of the fittest. So learning is a lifelong thing."

As soon as he finished, Xinyan took the lead in applauding. "Tianze is right. What you’ve learned is truly yours. Even if one day you leave me and start your own business, at the very least you should be people with real substance, so you don’t embarrass me."

It was meant as a joke, but everyone solemnly declared their loyalty. "Young Master, I, Qi Baocheng, will follow you for the rest of my life. If it weren’t for you, I’d probably still be hiding in some corner nobody knows about. How could I have the life that everyone envies now?"

Chen Manjuan and Jiang Xiaomin, the two divorced women with kids, also spoke up. "Young Master, without you taking us in, we’d probably still be struggling in a mess. We’re sticking with you for life."

Ling Tianze didn’t speak, but the meaning in his eyes was clear.

Xinyan chuckled softly. "Then here’s to us traveling this road together. We mustn’t drift apart along the way."

She actually understood that partners who drift apart along the way were all too common. She only hoped they would not forget their original intentions and would walk together all the way.

Once everyone quieted down, Liu Jiajia, who was in charge of cosmetics, spoke up. "Young Master, the equipment we ordered will all be in place in about a week. I previously recruited quite a few workers, and their training is already finished. These days I’ve had them cleaning the place. About the opening date, shouldn’t we put it on the agenda so we can make arrangements in advance?"
