Chapter 519: Reaching a Consensus

The two turned into the alley, and as they approached the courtyard, they heard two different greetings: "Sister Xinyan/Aunt Xinyan."

After the shouts, not only Xinyan and He Jinxuan, but even Granny Zhang, who followed them out, almost burst out laughing, while the two little ones were so embarrassed they could have poked a hole in the ground.

The two little ones exchanged a look, and Little Siyan twisted his fingers: "We really want to see you, but just now I...I..I called you sister, even though I promised Grandma Lu before to call you aunt."

Seeing the little one’s awkwardness, Xinyan laughed out loud: "Alright, in the future, call me whatever you want...."

Before she could finish her sentence, He Jinxuan and Ye Silai both said in unison, "How can that be?"

The little one’s smile instantly turned into a frown.

Thus, the two little ones reached a consensus, and Ye Siyan gave up his initial insistence. For his uncle to successfully woo a wife, though a bit unwilling, he had no choice but to call out, "Aunt."

That expression on his face almost made He Jinxuan want to hit someone.

But after all, they were just kids, and thinking it wouldn’t be long before they could call her ’aunt’ directly, he felt much better.

Before long, the two little ones were chattering away around Xinyan, talking from the Mechanical Factory to their journey to the Capital, but when they mentioned their father planning to bring them to live with him, they lost their previous excitement.

By this time, Granny Zhang had already set the table with food: "Time to eat."

Hearing it was time to eat, the two little ones gathered their emotions.

At the table, Granny Zhang warmly welcomed He Jinxuan and the two kids, her smile never leaving her face.
