Upon hearing that Director Han rejected her, Jiang Lina felt quite upset.

Although she didn’t have a face that could topple a city, she was still pretty and pleasant. She thought that if Director Han saw her in person, he would surely change his mind.

Hu Rong’er walked over with a proud smile on her face: "I work here now."

Jiang Lina widened her eyes and pointed at the office building: "You work here?"

She knew about Hu Rong’er’s situation; she had previously gone to the countryside to support village construction and didn’t expect her to have such a great job now: "Rong’er, when did you come back? You’re really impressive."

Hu Rong’er feigned humility: "Oh, don’t say that, it’s just good luck."

In fact, she was only a temporary worker now, but she wouldn’t say that: "Sister Lina, what are you doing here?"

Just after asking, she suddenly remembered and patted her own forehead: "Look at my memory, you’re here to see your second aunt, right?"

On the other side, Xinyan accompanied the staff from the investment promotion bureau to the airport.

After everyone had been busy for a while, they were informed that the flight was delayed by a quarter of an hour.

Then, Director Hu approached the three translators: "Once the delegation arrives, Xinyan, you’ll be responsible for translating for the three core members of the delegation. Just stick by the vice mayor and those leaders. The two of you handle the other members of the delegation, and be sure to coordinate with one another."

Originally, Shao Rongrong was quite happy when she received the task for this trip, but a few days later, she got news that a university student would be seconded from Beijing University. To be honest, she was quite upset at the time.
