That day, Xinyan had just come out from the professor’s office.

She heard Bai Aiwen calling her, "Xinyan, hurry up, there’s a call for you."

On the other side, He Jinxuan’s voice came through, "Yanyan, it’s me."

"Jinxuan, why are you calling?"

Xinyan rolled her eyes at Bai Aiwen, "Cut it out. He had a trip and called to let me know. You really know how to stretch the truth."

Bai Aiwen said with envy, "Where’s your boyfriend going this time? He’ll definitely bring back local goodies again, who in our dorm doesn’t envy that you have a great partner."

Xinyan didn’t refute this time, just smiled softly, "It’s not like no one’s pursuing you. Just pick someone suitable and say yes, then you won’t have to envy me."

Bai Aiwen shrugged, "Once bitten by a snake, I fear ropes for three years. I don’t have the courage."

Xinyan patted her shoulder, "People have to look forward. Not everyone is a jerk."

Bai Aiwen shook her head, "I just want to study well now, forget about everything else."

What she didn’t say was that the jerk from last winter break still tried to entangle her. The audacity! She’s really not interested in developing a new relationship now.

Not wanting to dwell on it, Bai Aiwen changed the subject, "Xinyan, Shu Xiaomei from the neighboring French class is from Miyun. I heard some classmates want to visit her area. Do you want to go too?"

However, she still nodded politely at her, "Anything?"

Gu Yingying laughed and said, "The weather’s getting warmer, classmates are planning to play this weekend, does your dorm want to join?"

Xinyan shrugged, "You’ll have to ask everyone individually, I’m afraid I can’t speak for everyone. However, I have plans this weekend, can’t go, hope you all have fun."
