The father and daughter chatted a while longer before heading out together.

Su Jingsong was waiting outside. Seeing them come out, he waved to Xinyan and said, "Good morning, Xinyan."

Xinyan walked up with a smile: "Good morning, Uncle Su. Why didn’t you come inside?"

Han Jingchen glanced at his watch, "Let’s go, I’ll give you a ride to the school gate."

Xinyan waved her hand, "You guys go ahead, I’ll walk there."

What a joke, it was just a few steps away; she didn’t want people seeing her arrive by car.

Han Jingchen saw her face of refusal, "Alright then, we’ll head off now. I’ll come pick you up after work on Saturday so we can go back together."

Xinyan did not object, "Got it, hurry up and leave."

Watching the car drive away, Xinyan recalled what Han Jingchen had said.

Xinyan laughed, "I had forgotten about her entirely, tell me what’s happening with her now."

Xinyan was all gossip, "Come on, spill it."

This crazy Ling Keke actually went to ask Ling Wenhao’s second sister to adopt her premature daughter, saying they could be raised as twins. She spoke so naturally about it."

Xinyan didn’t expect such juicy gossip, thinking to herself how she’d tell her sister this story, couldn’t wait to ask, "Then what happened?"
