After dinner, when everything was tidied up, the Wu Family couple didn’t linger much longer. They left after greeting everyone with their younger son, Wu Wensheng.

Once they sat down, she said somewhat shyly, "Honestly, we’ve only recently confirmed our relationship."

Zhao Jianlan finally explained, "Because of you, I had a few encounters with Lu Haibo before. Then, once when I was outside school with classmates, a thief appeared, and he helped me catch the guy.

After that, I ran into him a few more times. To thank him, I invited him for a meal, and later my mom had him bring me a package. We got familiar with each other through those events."

Seeing her shy expression, Xinyan asked, "Do your families know about you two?"
