Chapter 9: The Incident

Wang Meili is the niece of Old Mrs. Gu’s sister-in-law from her family.

One winter, when Old Mrs. Gu went back to her family, it happened that Wang Meili was there too, and accidentally saved Old Mrs. Gu’s life. Since then, Old Mrs. Gu treated Wang Meili differently.

Gu Chunmei remembered how Sun Haiying scolded her in front of so many people at the factory today, and her gaze was like a knife towards Wang Meili.

These days, how could she, as a mother, not notice something was off with Gu Juan?

But she absolutely couldn’t let Gu Juan get into trouble.
