Wang Meiqi quietly said to Wang Meili, "If this keeps up, we’ll end up exhausted."

Every day it’s either housework or taking care of the elderly, and then Wang Chuang’s wife makes us work in the fields. Wang Meiqi has never done this kind of work.

"Why don’t we run away." Wang Meiqi whispered, "Anywhere else has to be better than here."

Wang Meili nodded.

As she turned to leave, she thought for a bit and took some more.

Upon exiting, she saw her mother lying on the bed, staring at her with chaotic eyes, "Mother, don’t look at me like that, your daughter really has no other choice."

"Ever since Gu Lingling became clever, my good days have ended." Wang Meili said while counting money, "I’ve already given enough to this family, now it’s their turn to repay me."

"Mother, don’t blame me." Wang Meili said, wiping her tears, "Back when I married the Boss, it was you who advised me to deal with my second sister-in-law this way. Now karma has found its way."

The old mother on the bed was so furious at her words that she nearly fainted.

Having said that, she bowed to her mother on the bed then left without looking back.

The old mother on the bed tried to reach out to stop her, but she was already paralyzed, barely able to lift her hand, and couldn’t speak. When she opened her mouth, saliva just drooled down.

After gasping for a while, there was no sign of Wang Meili.

When Wang Chuang’s family returned, they saw their front gate left wide open.

Then she saw her mother lying on the bed, very excited to see them returning, letting out a few "ah-ah-ah" sounds.
