Chapter 236: Parallel World

After leaving Rhodes Enterprises, Mrs. Sutton stood alone in the night, staring blankly into the distant darkness.

Sylvia Lancaster then tried calling her older brother, Simon Lancaster. Thankfully, he answered.

Simon Lancaster’s anxious voice on the other end of the line pulled Sylvia Lancaster from her reverie. "Sylvia, you said you’re hurt? What happened? Which hospital are you in? I’m on my way!"

Sylvia Lancaster smiled at his words. ’My big brother is still the most reliable,’ she thought. ’He’s always doted on me the most.’

Sylvia Lancaster then gave Simon Lancaster the hospital’s address, and he promised he would be there to keep her company right away.

After hanging up, Sylvia Lancaster breathed a sigh of relief. Even though she didn’t understand the current situation, she believed that as long as Simon Lancaster was there, she wouldn’t be wronged.

As for why Elaine Hughes and Robert Lancaster weren’t answering her calls... Sylvia Lancaster guessed it was probably because her counterpart in this world had returned to her birth parents, hurting Robert and Elaine’s feelings.
