Su Ming couldnât be bothered to argue with him further.
"Letâs go."
Hamiu said to Shajialu.
"Thank you, sir."
Shajialu quickly followed Hamiu and left.
"Pah, what the hell! If the boss hadnât said to let him go, Iâd have chopped him up for sure."
Rhein spat on the ground.
"Weâre not bandits, we have to have principles. But itâs no big deal. What do they think the Dark Forest is? Do they really believe they can escape here on a lifeboat? Of course, if he does make it out alive, I wouldnât have anything to say."
Su Ming said nonchalantly.
"Exactly!"
Hearing this, Rhein and the others suddenly brightened up. Even they had to be extremely cautious navigating here, let alone a single lifeboat.
"Alright, enough about that, pack up everything in this treasure vault and take it with you."
Su Ming ordered Rhein and the others.
"Yes!"
Rhein and the others responded immediately.
...
A few hours later.
Su Ming and the others returned to the Wind Moving Hangar. When they got off their mechas,
Fia came running over excitedly and called out.
"Lord Su Ming."
"Fia, what brings you here?"
Su Ming greeted Fia with a smile.
"I came to bring you Purple Crystal, and by the way, to let you know that Sister Novlin has prepared a lavish feast and wants to invite you for a meal, partly to show our hospitality, and also to thank you for saving us."
Fia said to Su Ming with a smile.
"Alright!"
Su Ming immediately agreed.
"Great, letâs hurry up then."
Fia urged quickly.
Su Ming turned to Rhein and Ankaga and said.
"You two come with me, the rest stay on the Wind Moving."
"Okay!"
Rhein and the others replied in unison.
...
Not long after.
Su Ming and the two others followed Fia back to the Meteorite Stronghold.
Fia led them inside, and along the way they encountered many Holy Army personnel, who greeted them with great respect.
"Sir!"
...
Su Ming slightly nodded back to them in acknowledgment.
Soon they arrived at a small dining area, which had been slightly renovated. The floor had some cheap tiles laid down, and in the center was a large table with a dozen meat dishes on it, along with several bottles of white liquor.
"Lord Su Ming, you finally made it."
Novlin, dressed in a black Baroque-style dress, blue hair draped over her shoulders, greeted with a bright smile.
At this moment, Alfaku also came over and said heartily,
"Lord Su Ming, you finally made it."
"Sorry for keeping you waiting."
Su Ming replied with a smile.
"Oh no, we just finished getting ready ourselves, please sit down!"
Alfaku personally led Su Ming and the others to their seats.
"Alright!"
Su Ming and the others didnât stand on ceremony with Alfaku and sat right down.
Alfaku picked up the white liquor and opened it, filling the glasses in front of Su Ming and the others, then said,
"Lord Su Ming, Iâm a rough man and donât know much about etiquette, nor do I have anything special to serve you. I hope you donât mind."
"Not at all, this is just fine."
Su Ming replied politely.
"Thatâs good, letâs drink a toast first."
Alfaku picked up his glass, clinked it with Su Mingâs, and downed it in one go.
When Su Ming heard Alfakuâs words, he couldnât help but twitch. The glass wasnât small by any means; at least half a pound in one go.
But since Alfaku drank it, Su Ming could only grit his teeth and follow suit, downing the glass, feeling the aftertaste rush straight to his head.
Rhein and the others were wide-eyed watching this.
"Haha, refreshing! I really like Lord Su Mingâs personality, come, have more food."
Alfaku was very happy that Su Ming drank with him.
"Alright, Lord Alfaku, thereâs something Iâd like to discuss with you."
Su Ming said while picking a piece of food and putting it in his mouth, chewing as he spoke.
"Sure, as long as itâs something I can do, I wonât refuse."
Alfaku replied cheerfully.
"The thing is, we seized a mother ship from the Black Shark interstellar pirates, as well as several battleships, and I wonder if your Holy Army might be interested."
Su Ming asked with a smile.
Although Su Ming was currently in need of a Level 5 Mother Ship, he truly despised the Level 5 Mother Ship·Evil Fang.
Though his disdain wasnât solely due to the filthy conditions onboard, it was also because the ship was stained with the blood of innocent people everywhere, and no amount of cleaning could wash that away.
Moreover, if he wanted to refurbish this Level 5 Mother Ship, it would require a lot of time and money, and the foundation wasnât good, and towing it back would be a hassle.
Hence, Su Ming decided to try selling the mother ship and its contents to the Holy Army at a bargain price.
Alfaku, Novlin, and the others were stunned on hearing this.
But Alfaku quickly reacted, responding earnestly,
"Lord Su Ming, to be honest, weâre very interested. A Level 5 Mother Ship like this isnât something we can buy anywhere, nor would anyone dare sell it to us. After all, whoever sells it to us is going against the Dark Star Empire."
Upon hearing Alfakuâs words, Su Mingâs eyes lit up, confirming his expectations.
Moreover, spaceships are necessary items. Even in the Federation, they are difficult to procure, and itâs likely even harder for the Holy Army to acquire them.
"Since youâre interested, how about this? I sell you the mother ship and those battleships, along with the massive resources onboard, all bundled together, what do you think?"
Su Ming got straight to the point.
"We can, but we donât have that much money."
Alfaku replied a bit troubled.
"No problem, you can pay me with Energy Crystals."
Su Ming suggested with a smile.
"That works too, but how do we calculate it specifically?"
Alfakuâs eyes immediately lit up. After all, they couldnât possibly use up so many Energy Crystals, and most of it still needed to be exchanged for other supplies.
