Su Ming finished reading the messages, his expression was quite spectacular, replying to a message after almost a year, how does one respond to that?
Thinking about this, Su Ming found himself in a bit of a dilemma. He thought carefully and finally decided to respond appropriately.
"Senior, youāre finally replying to my message, where are you?"
"Iāve returned to Starlight City for vacation."
"How coincidental, Iām in Starlight City too. How about we have lunch together at noon? Is there anything youād like to eat?"
"Anythingās fine."
Irelia replied.
Su Ming thought for a moment and then replied.
"Then letās go to Golden Light Street. Thereās a restaurant there called Star Pan thatās quite nice, Iāll send you the location."
"See you in the evening."
Irelia quickly replied.
Su Ming immediately got up from bed and headed to the bathroom.
...
In the evening.
Golden Light Street, a hovering taxi pulled up on the roadside, Su Ming opened the car door and stepped down, looking up.
A luxurious restaurant came into view, its exterior walls embedded with Star Stones of various colors, looking very beautiful. Two rows of tall, very well-presented welcoming ladies stood at the entrance.
Su Ming originally wanted to pick anywhere randomly, but upon reconsidering, it didnāt seem appropriate, so he chose a finer place.
"Welcome."
A tall welcoming lady greeted him politely.
Su Ming walked straight into Star Pan Restaurant, where a man dressed in a tailcoat, with a black bow tie at his collar, very handsome, came forward to greet him. "Sir, Iām Liang An, the manager of Star Pan Restaurant. May I ask if you have a reservation?"
"No, do you have any private rooms available?"
"Iām sorry sir, we donāt have private rooms for non-reservations, but there are seats available in the hall."
"Then letās go with the hall."
Su Ming nodded in response.
"This way, please!"
Liang An led Su Ming to a table by the window.
After Su Ming sat down, he spoke to Liang An.
"You can leave for now, Iāll wait until they arrive to order."
"Alright, sir."
Liang An courteously withdrew.
Su Ming raised his wrist to check the time, there were still over twenty minutes until the agreed time, and so he waited patiently.
At the nearby table, a few girls kept looking over towards Su Ming, whispering amongst themselves.
Soon, a girl with fair skin, delicate looks, and a cheerful personality plucked up her courage and approached with her fellow students.
"Excuse me, are you Senior Su Ming?"
Su Ming was startled, looked at the unfamiliar girl in front of him and replied.
"Yes, and you are?"
"Senior Su Ming, Iām Tang Yu Xi, a first-year student in the Medical Department at Imperial Court Academy. Iāve heard a lot about you. Youāre a legend in our school, you became an Admiral in your second year!"
Tang Yu Xi said admiringly.
"Right, itās truly amazing."
Tang Yu Xiās companions behind her echoed excitedly.
"Thank you for the compliment."
Su Ming replied a bit awkwardly. He didnāt expect that out here, heād become famous at school.
"Um, Senior, could we take a photo with you?"
Tang Yu Xi asked Su Ming, filled with anticipation.
"Sorry, Iām not really in a position to, Iām waiting for someone."
Su Ming apologized.
He was waiting for Irelia and really didnāt want anything else to come up.
"Who are you waiting for, Senior? Is it a girlfriend?"
"Do you have a girlfriend?"
...
Tang Yu Xi and her companions asked curiously.
Su Mingās head started to hurt, as expected, things were turning out this way.
At this moment, a cool voice sounded from behind.
"Su Ming, junior, do you have an appointment?"
Upon hearing this voice, Su Ming quickly turned around to look, only to see Irelia dressed in a light blue top, white skirt, a scarf tied around her fair neck, her light purple hair casually draped over her shoulders, exuding a serene and elegant aura.
"No, these are just classmates having a meal nearby."
Su Ming quickly stood up to explain.
"I see, then ladies, could you please make way."
Irelia politely said to Tang Yu Xi and her companions.
"Alright."
Tang Yu Xi and the others, seeing the awaited person had arrived, awkwardly left.
Su Ming then walked over to the other side of the table, pulled the chair out gentlemanly, and said to Irelia.
"Please have a seat, Senior."
"Thank you."
Irelia walked over and sat down, taking off her scarf and placing it aside.
Su Ming raised his hand to signal to Manager Liang An.
Manager Liang An quickly approached and asked respectfully.
"Sir, Miss, are you ready to order?"
"Yes, Senior, is there anything you would like to eat?"
Su Ming smiled and asked Irelia.
"The signature dishes here should be fine."
Irelia responded simply.
"Then, Senior, would you like something to drink?"
Su Ming continued to ask.
"Just plain water will do."
Irelia replied faintly.
"Manager Liang, could you please serve us?"
Su Ming turned to Manager Liang An and instructed.
"Alright, I will go order it now."
Manager Liang An withdrew politely.
Soon, several exquisite dishes were served.
"Please!"
Su Ming invited Irelia to eat with gentlemanly courtesy.
"Alright!"
Irelia picked up the chopsticks, selected a piece of green vegetable, placed it in her mouth, and started chewing slowly.
Su Ming also observed Ireliaās expression secretly, keenly noticing that Senior seemed not in a good mood, so he proactively asked.
"Senior, have you been well lately?"
"Quite well, how about you?"
"Iām definitely doing well too, itās just...."
"Just what?"
Irelia looked at Su Ming with interest.
Su Mingās eyes flickered for a moment, then he responded helplessly.
"Oh, thereās actually not much going on, itās just that I donāt have a captain right now, and itās been troubling me recently."
