“Ruoxue, where is this place?”

Su Ming slowly turned his head, surveying the room, and asked with a bit of a headache.

“This is the Holy Shadow Fortress.”

An Ruoxue replied, her eyes moist.

“Did we escape?”

“How long was I in a coma? Why does my head feel so heavy?”

Su Ming felt his head was dizzy and heavy.

“What is it?”

Seeing An Ruoxue’s odd expression, Su Ming asked puzzledly.

“Su Ming, you’ve been in a coma for five months.”

An Ruoxue told Su Ming.

“Five months? Hiss!”

Su Ming was equally shocked to hear An Ruoxue’s words, reflexively sitting up and inhaling sharply from the pain.

An Ruoxue quickly supported Su Ming, advising him with concern.

“Su Ming, don’t get excited!”

“It’s okay, I was just startled.”

“I’ll notify Dr. Oliga and the others to come over and check your body.”

Soon after, Oliga and Celeste hurried back.

“Su Ming, you’re finally awake! I knew you wouldn’t die.”

Celeste shouted excitedly.

Su Ming smiled and said to Coronan.

“Yes, Dr. Oliga, how is General Su Ming’s condition?”

Coronan nodded and asked.

“Well, the contamination on his body is still severe, but he hasn’t mutated after all this time, and he’s now awake, so there shouldn’t be any life-threatening danger. As long as he rests well, he should recover.”

Oliga thought for a moment and replied.

“Very well, General Su Ming, you should rest well. We won’t disturb you. We’ll come to see you once you’ve recovered some more.”

“Let me help you wash up.”

An Ruoxue walked over to Su Ming’s side and began to wring out a towel.

“No need, I can move now. I’ll do it myself.”

Su Ming then sat up, intending to get out of bed to wash himself.

“No need, just lie down. Besides, this isn’t the first time I’ve done it, I’ve seen it all, no need to be so shy.”

An Ruoxue pressed Su Ming back onto the bed, playfully saying to him.

“Ahem, Ruoxue, how is your situation now?”

Coronan briefly explained the situation to Su Ming.
