Chapter 1446: Chapter 495: Aggrieved (Part 2)
Blakes explained coldly.
âSo what do we do now? Where can we get the V-type Gene Potion for Su Ming?â
Celeste, seeing hope dashed, asked helplessly.
âThere is no better solution now. We can only wait for my V-type Gene Potion to be perfected.â
Blakes replied coldly.
âHow long will that take?â
âItâs uncertain. Although Iâve used various methods to diminish the divinity of the monster gene, itâs still not ideal and doesnât meet the minimum standards for human injection.â
âThatâs the same as not saying anything.â
Celeste sighed in response.
Upon hearing this, Su Mingâs expression changed for a moment before he said to Blakes.
âLord Blakes, I have a hypothesis, but Iâm not sure if I should say it.â
âSpeak!â
Blakes turned to look at Su Ming and said.
âIs it possible that there is no issue with your development of the V-type Gene Potion? As you said, youâve reduced the divinity of the monster gene to a minimum. The real problem might be with us, that we donât meet the standards for injection.â
Su Ming said to Blakes.
Upon hearing Su Mingâs words, Blakes was suddenly enlightened, as if a new world had opened up.
âYou mean that the development of the V-type Gene Potion is fine, but the problem lies with humans, and the V-type Gene Potion itself isnât suitable for ordinary human injection?â
âYes, thatâs exactly what I mean!â
âAccording to the test values, if itâs an extremely rare Third Generation New Human, then it might be bearable.â
âThird Generation New Humans? How are they created?â
Hearing Blakes mention the Third Generation New Humans, Su Ming asked curiously.
âNormally mutated individuals are called the Second Generation of New Humans. They possess physical attributes and intelligence that surpass natural humans. The Third Generation New Humans evolve further from the Second Generation, possessing even stronger talents.â
Blakes explained to Su Ming.
âI see. So does the Xi Guang Laboratory have any Third Generation New Humans?â
Su Mingâs eyelids twitched at Blakesâ words. He recalled that Lin Chuyu seemed to be a Second Generation New Human, but later her hair color changed. Could she also have mutated into a Third Generation New Human?
âNo, the Dragon String Council President issued a command years ago that New Humans and ordinary people should be treated equally and not discriminated against. So, there is very little information in this area, thus none.â
Blakes provided a simple explanation.
âHmm.â
Su Ming nodded.
âHa, I thought you were discussing some major discovery. Thereâs no need to think further; Su Mingâs body is at the level of a natural human.â
Celeste bluntly interjected.
Su Ming listened to Celesteâs words and calmly said to Blakes.
âLord Blakes, Iâd like to take a chance and try it!â
âSu Ming, have you lost your mind?â
Celeste asked in shock.
âLord Su Ming, please donât joke around!â
Bodden and the others were dumbfounded and quickly advised.
Alist and the other two also frowned. Even with Celesteâs clear warning, they hadnât expected Su Ming to still risk using it.
âAre you sure you want to use it? The risk is extremely high. If you canât withstand it, youâll mutate into a monster.â
Hearing Su Mingâs words, Blakes hesitated slightly, unsure whether it was because of their long association or his concern for Su Ming, which made him somewhat apprehensive.
Su Mingâs expression changed subtly, and he calmly replied.
âYes, I believe I can withstand it. With my current contamination levels, I wouldâve mutated long ago if it were possible! Trust me!â
âI initially planned for Alist to conduct the first round of tests, but since you want to inject it, Iâll allow you to do it. However, Oken and the others must not know about this, or theyâll surely intervene.â
Blakes agreed upon hearing Su Mingâs determination.
In fact, Blakes had a lot of faith in Su Ming, and Su Ming had never let him down.
âUnderstood.â
Su Ming nodded.
At this point, Alist and the others looked at Su Ming with complex expressions.
Seeing them, Su Ming smiled and said.
âSorry, Alist, for taking your chance to inject.â
âItâs fine. I donât mind. Being the guinea pig for the first injection isnât ideal. Iâll wait until itâs successful.â
Alist replied indifferently.
âAlright.â
Su Mingâs mouth twitched slightly at Alistâs words.
Alist wasnât wrong. If it werenât for his bodyâs poor state and the increasingly urgent situation, he wouldnât have time for slow recuperation. Otherwise, he wouldnât be this aggressive, especially with a Gene Potion that hadnât been successfully developed or tested.
But now, he had no choice but to act.
âAlright, everyone start preparing for all the pre-injection tasks.â
Blakes gave orders to Bodden and the others.
âYes!â
Bodden and the others snapped back to reality and quickly dispersed to prepare.
Celeste floated over to Su Ming, worriedly asking.
âSu Ming, can you really get through this?â
âDonât worry. Iâve weathered so many storms; this time wonât be a problem either.â
Su Ming reassured Celeste with a tone of lightness and confidence.
âYes, youâll definitely be fine.â
Celeste nodded strongly.
âŠ.
A few hours later, all preparations were completed.
Blakes and the others led Su Ming to a special isolation zone at the Xi Guang Laboratory.
This isolation zone is divided into two parts: an external operation area with a large control console and an isolated experimental chamber.
