Sheng Ning blinked her fan-like eyelashes, utterly bewildered. What had she done to deserve this? Had she expressed any opinion from start to finish?

Also, what kind of thought process did Zhao Feifei have? Clearly, it was Chen Huaying who kicked her out, yet she blamed Sheng Ning.

Was she blind or something?

Chen Huaying took Zhao Feifei’s bed and began arranging her things, content with her conquest.

Sheng Ning was feeling truly uncomfortable in her stomach, and the jolting made it worse; she didn’t want to move a muscle. She had arrived late, so the good spots on the bed were taken. She settled for a spot as close to the edge as she could, organized all her belongings, and laid out her quilt and pillow.

“Sheng Ning, your hot water bag,” Zhang Hongmei moved faster, having already found where to fill it up. She handed the filled water bag to Sheng Ning.

“Thank you!” Sheng Ning’s eyes shone with gratitude as she thanked Zhang Hongmei, casually placing the hot water bag on her lower abdomen, then wrapping herself with the quilt. Only then did she feel much better.

Yang Wenying followed Zhou Hong inwardly sizing up the surroundings. Everyone’s blood ran hot, and she felt a surge of excitement when she saw the tough people around her.

Especially when passing the parade ground and witnessing squads in breakthrough training, she couldn’t help but stop and watch.
