“Someone’s looking for Sheng Ning!” Someone outside shouted loudly. Sheng Ning put away her manuscript, got dressed, and ran out.

When she stepped outside, she saw it was Sun Gan, and her face immediately darkened.

At this point, Shen Jianguo was the only person she could ask for help.

The monitoring room was suddenly left with only Qin Cuifen and Sheng Ning.

“You’re the one desperate for men!” Qin Cuifen sneered back, having learned to be smart. She wanted to scream hysterically and viciously scratch Sheng Ning’s face, but she forced herself to calm down instead.

“The whole Song and Dance Troupe knows how slutty and promiscuous you are. You seduced Living Yama, and even went after Shen Jian and Meng Ping. How desperate for men must you be to be so undiscerning?”

The more she said, the more calm Sheng Ning became, and the clearer she saw the reasons for her past failures.

In her previous life, she cared too much about her reputation, to an extreme. Just a few words from Qin Cuifen and she’d react like a cat with its fur up, capable of doing anything.

“Keep talking!” Sheng Ning all but clapped her hands.

Qin Cuifen’s sarcasm and mudslinging weren’t having the desired effect, and she glared angrily. “Hmph! You think you’ve won just like that? Dream on. I won’t let you get away with it, I won’t let you go even in death. I will see you ruined and disgraced, I will see you abandoned by the man you love the most, forsaken by all and eventually clanging your way into prison.”

Qin Cuifen cursed malevolently.
