“By the way, I think you should go home for a while,” Hai Shen said meaningfully after giving them a glance.

“Has already returned to the General Union with your grandfather.”

The three drove from National Security University towards the General Union. They were all old acquaintances. After passing security, they parked the car and split up.

Hearing the voice, Hai Shen knew this doctor was an old subordinate of the master, who had looked after his grandfather for two years.

“Just tell me, will you help or not?”

“Hai Lan, your injury is not that severe. I can’t falsely claim it’s very serious in good conscience! And the injury can be examined—you haven’t even had a cast put on, nobody would believe it’s a fracture!” the doctor struggled.

“Then put on a cast!” Hai Lan said fiercely, “Don’t think now that you have made it, you can sever ties with the Hai family just because you’re not in the main compound anymore.”

Her words made the doctor’s forehead veins bulge, “Hai Lan, I say this for your sake. Your injury is not that serious, deliberately atting a cast is contrary to both the injury and recovery.” He originally reported her injury as a minor fracture to help her, but she was still dissatisfied, insisting on it being labeled as a fracture.

Was this not forcing him to violate medical ethics?

“Just say whether you’ll do it or not?” Hai Lan glared at him, her eyes red.

“Fine! Since you insist, I’ll give face to the old master and your father, but if this causes any complications, don’t blame anyone else.”

“It won’t involve you, don’t worry, I’ll recover completely,” Hai Lan said, satisfied at having gotten her way. She imagined Yang Wenying being expelled from the General Union Song and Dance Troupe, feeling a rush of comfort.

She had long harbored resentment towards Yang Wenying, blatantly biased toward Sheng Ning, she was unjustly a leader of the troupe.
