"Nonsense, joking about enemy agents?" Hai Yunfengās brows furrowed so tightly he could kill a fly, "Who did it?"
"Seems to be related to Hai Lan."
"How did she come back?"
"I donāt really know the details, but Iāve heard that Senior Leader Su was very angry, threatening that if anything happened to his granddaughter, he wouldnāt live through it." The confidential secretary paused, hesitated, and said, "Just now, the hospital called, saying Xu Qigang and Chen Yingjie went missing. I suspect they have gone to the association to rescue someone too?"
Hai Yunfeng realized something was wrong and his face turned iron blue. "Those two are causing trouble, daring to sneak out of the hospital."
"Hahaha... What would those two dare not do?" The whole district was shocked by the War Wolf Rescue Team, almost at the point of losing their eyes. Thereās a rumor that thereās nothing the War Wolf Rescue Team wouldnāt dare do.
"Does Shen Feihu know?"
"Not yet!" The confidential secretary shook his head, "Iāve heard Chairman Shen went to the Provincial Command Center today." Luckily, he doesnāt know yet. If he did, he wonders if Shen Feihu, that impulsive fellow, would take some people to overturn the association."
Hai Yunfeng rubbed his brow and signaled the meeting to pause, following the confidential secretary out.
As soon as he left, the people in the meeting room began whispering among themselves.
"Just now, was the Rescue Association mentioned?"
"Hahaha... You can hear the name of the Rescue Association everywhere now."
"Indeed! Now whether itās new comrades or old, they dream of joining the Rescue Association."
"Hahaha... I bet you want to join too, right?"
"I do want to, but considering Shen Feihuās temperament, maybe not! Iām afraid of fighting."
"Youāre afraid youāll lose the fight, arenāt you?"
Exposed, the room burst into laughter, and the person being teased wasnāt angry; instead, he rubbed his head and laughed along.

Sheng An was caught and brought to the association, too scared to speak along the way. Once in the interrogation room, she trembled all over. She hadnāt imagined things would turn out like this, wanting to mention her sisterās name but fearing it might implicate her sister.
She didnāt dare utter a word.
She knew saying nothing was best for her; she believed her sister would come to save her.
"Begin the interrogation."
Someone holding a folder took Sheng An from the detention room to the interrogation room. Inside was empty except for a chair placed in the center, surrounded by wires.
The overhead incandescent light flickered, hurting her eyes.
Sheng An was pressed onto the chair, her hands and feet shackled.
"Whatās your name? Who sent you?" An interrogator asked through an iron railing.
Sheng An lowered her head, too scared to speak.
"Iām telling you to speak." The person opposite grew increasingly angry, slamming the folder onto the table as she refused to cooperate.
Sheng An raised her head, defiantly glaring at him, "Iām not a spy, what do you want me to say?"
"You carried weapons and infiltrated, if not a spy, then what?"
"I didnāt infiltrate, I rode Su Haiās car in."
"Still being stubborn, donāt you know carrying weapons is illegal?"
"Those werenāt mine."
"Hmph! You wonāt understand the gravity of your mistake until you taste some trouble. Administer the torture."
Upon hearing ātorture,ā Sheng An shook violently, her face pale as a sheet.
