The nobles of the Lockhart Kingdom were like any other nobles of any other kingdom.
They only seemed to care about themselves and their own benefits.
Which was why they surrounded me the moment that the king of the Lockhart Kingdom introduced me.
They all introduced themselves and started giving me compliments in hopes of getting closer to me. There were some that even tried to flirt with me or tried to help their daughters get closer to me, but I didnât respond to any of those attempts.
When they saw that these attempts werenât working, they changed tactics by trying to offer me different things.
It all started with one noble that suddenly offered me some jewels.
Then following that, there were many other nobles that started offering all kinds of different things to me.
There were some that followed that noble by offering jewels and other valuables.
There were some that tried to offer the special local products of their territories and vowed to give me as much as I wanted.
There were even some that tried to offer me special items that were different from the rest of the items that were being offered.
In short, they were doing all that they could to suck up to me.
But I wasnât interested in any of this.
I was someone that had knowledge from the endgame of this world based on the game, so the things that they offered me just didnât interest me at all. At the same time, I wouldnât just bring home another woman after marrying seven wives.
Especially when they were about to give birth to my children.
It definitely wouldnât be a good look and wouldnât be good for me.

It was one noble that was clearly a sleazy noble based on his appearance, but then his voice made it clear what kind of noble he was. The moment that I heard what he said, I couldnât help knitting my brows.

After saying this, he moved aside so that he could gesture to a beautiful red haired woman beside him.
Then after moving aside for me to see her, he added, "It has long been her wish to be able to spend some time with your majesty, so I hope that you will spare the time for her."
That was what made me deeply knit his brows.
I wasnât a fool, so I could immediately understand what he was saying.
He was basically offering his wife to me.
I looked closely at the red haired womanâs face to see her reaction, but it didnât seem like she had a reaction at all to this. The way that she calmly looked back at me as I looked at her was almost as if she had fully accepted whatever her husband was doing to her.
There were others that revealed disdainful looks when they heard this as well.
It was clear that this noble wasnât someone that was popular in the Lockhart Kingdom, but it also seemed that he had enough power that he was someone that others werenât willing to offend that easily.
It seemed that he was quite skilled at currying favour if he was even willing to offer his wife.
There was only disdain that filled my heart after hearing what he proposed, but I didnât say anything in response. Rather, it was because I took another look at the manâs wife instead of paying attention to him.
I couldnât help revealing a strange look as I looked at her since I felt like I recognized her, but I couldnât exactly remember where I had seen her before. It felt like I had seen her a long time agoâŠ
Then suddenly there was a trace of recognition that appeared in my eyes and a look of surprise that appeared on my face.
The moment that I recognized her, I couldnât believe that someone like her was actually in a place like this.
Taking a moment to calm myself, I then asked the sly looking noble, "Are you sure that you want to do this?"
The sly looking noble was a bit surprised to hear this, but then the smile on his face became even wider as he said, "It is my wifeâs greatest wish and as a loving husband, how could I go against that?"

A loving husband that was even offering his wife to raise his own position in the world, it really was hard to call someone like that a loving husband. It was just that this person had been able to say it without any hesitation or strangeness.
It was as if he sincerely believed what he was saying.
There was an urge that filled me that wanted to punch him right in the face, but I was able to hold myself back in the end.
After taking another moment to calm myself, I said, "Alright, then Iâll be happy to entertain your wife for a few nights."
The sly looking noble quickly nodded in agreement before saying, "Please take as long as you want."
Without saying anything else, he actually turned to leave.
He didnât even ask me for anything, he just left his wife with me.
It seemed that he was quite used to doing this as he knew the way to do this without seeming too desperate.
After the other nobles heard this, they also started trying to offer me women like the sly looking noble had done. Some of them even started to subtly offer their daughters to me, just like the sly looking noble had done with his wife.
They had looked down on him earlier, but now they were doing the same thing as himâŠ
But in the end, I turned them all down.
I just took the sly looking nobleâs wife away with me as I went to the room that the king of the Lockhart Kingdom prepared for me.
