When the next morning came, I received quite a few looks.
I knew exactly why they were looking at me like this.
It was hard to hide the haggard look that was on my face.
With the stamina that Ariel had, it really was hard for me to keep up with her.
So that was why I had been punished for trying to keep up with her.
That was why I was completely out of stamina this morning.
But in the end, none of my wives judged me for this since they knew that this was something that would have happened sooner or later. If it happened sooner, then it was actually a good sign.
"Did you enjoy yourself?" Rose was the only one that asked me a question in the end.
I couldnāt help revealing a bitter smile when I remembered what happened last night, but I still said, "It was a different experience."
In the end, she just came forward to say, "Donāt forget about us just because thereās something new."
She didnāt even wait for a response from me before leaving with the rest of my wives.
All of them still had their own things to do after all.
But that also applied to me.
Since there were guests from the different races that were here, it was up to me to take them around our kingdom.
"Will my legs hold up today?" I couldnāt help thinking with a bitter smile.
After what happened last night, it really felt like my legs were as soft as jelly.
It would be hard to move around a lot today.
So it was a good thing that the guests that I was showing around today were the giants. With the difference in size, it would be impossible for me to keep up with them if I were to walk with them.
That was why to keep up with them, I would be riding on Joan.
Since I was riding, I wouldnāt actually have to walk around with my own two legs.
But the moment that I met with the giants, I knew that there was something wrong.
After all, there were giants that I didnāt expect with them.
"Itās been a long time, hasnāt it?"
Though Isra said this with a smile on my face, all I could feel was the pressure that came from her.
Since she was here, she must already know what was happening and this pressure was most likely her response to what happened. She was trying to pressure me to accept the political marriage with her.
I couldnāt help looking at the chief of the Vale Tribe that was with her, but it didnāt seem like he was planning on getting involved.
He was completely different from before where he acted like a father.
I knew something must have happened between them that I didnāt know about for him to act this way.
It seemed that she was quite determined...
I couldnāt help looking at Alidus as well since he was also here.
Alidus had been spending quite a bit of time in our Kite Kingdom, so he wasnāt really a guest that was to be entertained. The reason that he was here today was actually to catch up with his father.
However, it wasnāt as if this matter wasnāt related to him.
"This childhood friend of yours is supposed to be your wife! Stop me from NTRing you!" That was the complaint that I made in my mind, but it didnāt seem like Alidus was interested in her at all with the way that he was acting.
It almost seemed like he was completely ignoring her with the way that he kept talking to Olos and the other giants from the Harakka Tribe.
I really had to wonder how the two of them even ended up together in the game in the first place...
If he was this lacking in interest in her, then was their marriage one of convenience?
Was it just a political marriage to help him unite the giants together?
Seeing that I didnāt say anything, Isra suddenly said, "Where will we be going today?"
When she called me out like this, I really had no choice but to reply.
So I just put on a professional face and started leading them around the capital.
Since they were giants, there were many things that they hadnāt seen about a human city yet. That was why it was quite distracting for them to go through the capital of the Kite Kingdom like this.
With them distracted, I was able to keep Isra from doing anything.
All during this time, I kept sending signals to Alidus, the chief of the Vale Tribe, and even Olos to do something. But it seemed that all of them were ignoring the signals that I gave them.
I knew that they were ignoring me because I had even shared a look with Alidus as I gave one of these signals.
At that point, it was clear that they didnāt want to get involved.
At the very least, I was able to get through a day of this.
Or I would say that I was able to get through a day until Isra said, "Your majesty, shall we have dinner together?"
As soon as she made this offer, the rest of the giants all gave some kind of excuse.
At the same time, it seemed that they were all pushing her onto me with how they were planning to leave as soon as possible. It seemed that they had all rehearsed this ahead of time.
It really seemed like they werenāt giving me a choice.
So in the end...
"Alright, where do you want to go?"
"Iāve made a reservation at one of the restaurants near the castle. Iāll meet you there in an hour."
She didnāt even give me a chance to respond as she suddenly headed off as if she was about to prepare.
Though I couldnāt help wondering...
"How would this work since sheās a giant?"
