Chapter 1586: Castle in the sky (1)

"Your majesty, what was that for?" The representative from the Sorcery Empire said with a dark look on his face.

Even though he and the representative from the Brownie Empire weren’t injured by the flames, it certainly wasn’t a pleasant experience to be bathed in the flames like this.

But in the end, there was nothing that they could say when I said, "It was a wide range purification. I wanted to see if I could force the corruption energy out like this."

Though it was clear that there were other thoughts on their minds and that there were more things that they wanted to say, the two representatives held themselves back in the end.

Still, it was clear that they were losing their patience.

Before they could make another complaint, I just simply said, "It’s getting late, let’s head back."

The two of them slowly nodded in agreement to this since it was true that it was getting late.

The sun was already setting behind them.

Though it did seem like there were some thoughts in their minds. It seemed like they wanted to cause some kind of trouble after this.

However, it wasn’t as if they would actually be able to cause any trouble.

In fact, it wouldn’t take long for us to settle this matter now that I had found the place where the Relic of Destruction was. It was only a matter of hiding it from the rest of the people that were here.

But all I did was shake my head in response.

They didn’t seem disappointed when they saw this, rather it seemed like most people just found this natural. It wasn’t as if the Relic of Destruction was something that was that easy to find.

There were many that had doubts about the existence of the Relic of Destruction in this place, but they only showed it on their faces and didn’t say anything out loud.

Instead of resting, I got on the back of Joan again before saying, "We’ll go for a flight now."

The representative from the Brownie Kingdom couldn’t help knitting his brows before saying, "Your majesty, it’s best if you remain in camp during your time here."

With a calm look on my face, I said, "All of our wyverns need to exercise to remain in shape. At the same time, we’ll be sure to remain in the space that we’ve already explored previously, so you don’t have to worry."

"But..." The representative from the Brownie Kingdom clearly had more objections to this, but he didn’t get to say anything.

I just tapped Joan on the head and she suddenly flew up into the sky before anyone could react.

The only thing that the representative from the Brownie Kingdom could do was look at the representative of the Sorcery Empire for help. But the representative from the Sorcery Empire simply shook his head before saying, "It’s fine, let him go."

The representative from the Brownie Kingdom looked like there was a lot more that he wanted to say, but the representative of the Sorcery Empire convinced him with one sentence.

"While the king of the Kite Kingdom is away, that gives us time to make our move."

The representative from the Brownie Kingdom revealed a surprised look before that was replaced with a nod with a determined look on his face.

These two were clearly planning on doing something behind Zwein’s back, but it was just too bad that they didn’t actually have the chance.

After all, they were just out of their depth when it came to matters related to the corruption energy.

They just couldn’t sense it like Zwein could.

By the time that they gathered the people that they wanted to do what they were planning to do, it would already be too late.

"Is everyone gathered?" I asked Klein who was in front of me.

Klein gave a simple nod, but there was no hiding the confused look that was on his face.

After all, I had secretly told them to gather like this.

No matter how they looked at it, it really seemed like a bad idea to gather like this.

It would raise suspicion and at the same time...

"Are you sure that we shouldn’t have remained in the camp? It’s clear that they’ll be planning something to take control."

"It’s fine if they try to take control. By the time that we return, it’ll all be over."

Klein and the others looked even more confused when they heard this, but eventually understood what I meant by this.

"You found it?" Klein asked in a slow voice.

With a simple nod, I turned around and pointed at the cloud that was in front of us.

Before they arrived, I had returned to the same place as before and started searching for it. But since this was a cloud, it wasn’t as if it would remain in the same place.

So I had been looking around the area until I finally found the cloud that gave me that feeling.

"Are you sure?" Klein couldn’t help asking as he looked at the cloud.

The others all seemed to think the same thing as him as they didn’t think that there was anything on that cloud.

I could even see a few people wondering if I had gone crazy.

But I didn’t say anything as I waved my hand at them to follow me.

When we came closer, the expression on their faces slowly changed.

That was because they could see what was on the cloud that I had pointed them to.

"Is that a city?" Klein asked in a shaky voice.

"Yes, it is."

On that cloud, there was a city that was attached to the cloud.

It was a city that was on the cloud itself.
