"The pace has been pretty comfortable lately," Ree Shil remarked as he gazed at the S-rank Material Card before him.
Every time he completed an S-rank task, an S-rank Card would be delivered to his door.
With this trend, wouldnât he have a good chance of collecting a 9+1 S-rank card deck?
Deploying all 10 S-rank Cards, he felt that even without deliberate coordination, he could overwhelm his opponents with sheer power, right?

He speculated that perhaps this essence was the reason the card qualified as S-rank.
After all, formidable as Dragon Martial was, in his experience and understanding, he didnât seem quite on the level of an S-rank performance.
Of course, every world has its own rules and limits, and they shouldnât be directly compared.
It was just a pure hunch.

"Just as I thought, all S-rank Material Cards come with the same annotation," he mused over the cardâs utility.
The first trial subject he thought of for Fusion was "Martial Tower Master".
That is, Uncle Dragon Knight, whom he had previously met.

Luckily, he happened upon the avatar of some god passing through this world, who showed him a clear path.
He moved into the void to establish the Kungfu Tower, becoming a hidden level within the "Way of Balance".
"Donât be fooled by the antlers on Dragon Martialâs head; by blood, heâs the real brother of Dragon Art.
If Dragon Art is a Dragon Head Man, then Dragon Martial should probably count as one too, right?
Uncle Dragon Knight is also a Dragon Head Man, so could this Material work?"
He immediately took out the "Martial Tower Master" card for a preview.
Unfortunately, it didnât work out.
"Hold on, is it that incompatible for Fusion?
Could it be that only Dragon Martial himself can Fuse with it?"

"First, I need to find Dragon Art and Dragon Martial," he resolved.
He put away the card in his hand and started the previewing process.
Half an hour later, two Cards were already in his possession.

"These two Cards seem pretty ordinary to me."

"Without knowing the story behind it, youâd never guess these two Cards are brothers.
Thereâs hardly any connection in the names or projections of the two.
This Dragon Art card is quite innovative," he noted.
Merely by looking at the face of the card, he could roughly understand what it was about.
Its passive skills seemed odd and pointless, but they did have some utility.
First, what does "position considered as an enemyâs position" mean? It means when calculating card patterns, it would count as part of the opponentâs card deck.
For instance, suppose the enemyâs Headline District left card A has a term like "When in an Outer Card position, takes 10 less Damage."
If the "Renegade Dragon Man" is placed in front of card A, it would become the Outer Card of that row for the enemy, and card A would not be considered an Outer Card.
However, this effect would probably rarely be useful.
But another term, "Ancestorâs Betrayal", considered as enemy behavior, is different.
What does "enemy behavior" mean?
You see, when your own Card attacks another of your Cards, thereâs no concept of "attack blocking".
In other words, once the "Renegade Dragon Man" is revealed, it can attack any of the opponentâs Regular cards in any position.
Itâs like ignoring any blocking by enemy cards.
However, you canât use it to reveal the enemyâs King Card because your Cards inherently canât do that.
But it could allow you to attack a position in the King Card Row that is not the King Card to infer the King Cardâs location.
Those two points were what Ree Shil considered the most valuable about this card.
But the "Renegade Dragon Man" showed no compatibility with the "Dragon Shackles" either.
Looking at Dragon Martialâs card, its face seemed to fare much better than that of Dragon Art.
