Communication ended.
Chen Ming had gained a basic understanding of the Director.
He returned the terminal to the boss and casually remarked, "The Director is quite easygoing."
"The Director requested to meet you, if heâs not easygoing, who is?"
"True."
The boss put away the terminal, reached out to pat Chen Mingâs shoulder, and asked, "Are you physically up for it? If you are, we should set off early."
At the mention of his body, Chen Ming finally noticed that several doctors and nurses had left the ward at some unknown time.
He checked himself, feeling a bit physically exhausted.
Yet, his mental state was quite good, perhaps even excellent.
The Ship Spirit had provided substantial protection in terms of Spiritual Power.
Moreover, Chen Ming wouldnât need to pilot the ship himself next; he only needed enough Spiritual Power.
So he thought for a moment and said, "I can, I can leave now."
"Do you think we should bring the doctors and nurses along?"
Chen Ming considered it again and said, "Bring them, in case we run into something, itâll save a trip to the colony."
The boss nodded, picked up the terminal, clicked a few times, and then said to Chen Ming, "Then letâs..."
Just as the boss started speaking, he suddenly saw Chen Mingâs complexion change.
It turned extremely pale.
The boss quickly asked, "Are you okay?"
Cold sweat began to gather on Chen Mingâs forehead; he said somewhat incoherently, "No, wrong, canât go, definitely canât meet."
"Somethingâs wrong with this!"
Because just as Chen Ming planned to start up the Supreme Point, heading to the Star System given to him by the boss.
Chen Ming once again, incredibly clearly, sensed that specific danger from the depths of the starry sky within the Consciousness Space.
Numerous thoughts flashed across his mind instantly, and he quickly connected them.
These connected thoughts led Chen Ming to an extremely terrifying conjecture.
Unaware of all this, the boss held Chen Mingâs shoulder, frowning as he looked into his eyes and said, "Whatâs the issue? Are you talking about the Director?"
"No, not right, itâs not the Director."
Chen Ming denied hurriedly, and nervously said to the boss, "Boss, you mentioned before."
"The existence of another space causing dimensional contamination which can locate our Empireâs position, pinpointing it for twenty years."
"Causing all newborns for twenty years and ongoing cloning experiments to show mutational signs."
"It wasnât until twenty years later when the relative positions between our two dimensions shifted that they gradually lost our coordinate, right?"
The boss was aware of what he had previously said, so he immediately affirmed, "Correct."
"Then, for people like the Director and me who have experienced dimensional contamination, and still provide the genetic data for its objects, to things from that space, arenât we just coordinate data?"
The boss also seemed to realize a slight problem, furrowing his brow in thought.
Chen Ming continued, "If the Directorâs location is essentially a point, it doesnât mean anything to this universe and the other dimension."
"Because there is only one point but two planes, no, two spaces, so relying solely on this point wonât allow for locating."
"Since that existence doesnât understand the relative position of the two dimensions, otherwise the other dimension wouldnât lose our location with just the Directorâs point alone."
"Therefore, a single point is worthless."
"But, when a second point appears, that is, when my location appears, these two coordinates, as long as they are connected, then they hold tangible significance."
