The cuckoos and hydrangeas caught her eye. She decided to carefully transplant them later into the east courtyard.

Qiao Xuan observed the maids picking and arranging flowers, engrossed in their work and laughter, when Mrs. Guan arrived with her attendants.

An elderly woman shouted from a distance, “Where did these little girls come from? Hurry up and stop!”

Qiao Xuan sneered and calmly said, “Just ignore her.”

The maids chuckled and responded, “Who is this old woman? She’s shouting!”, “That’s right, who does she think she’s scaring!”, “Hey, don’t say that. She suddenly shouted like this, it really scared me!”, “Me too, me too…”

Seeing the maids unperturbed, Mrs. Guan grew angrier. She gritted her teeth and scolded, “How dare you be so arrogant the moment you arrive!”
