Chapter 180: I am cursed!!!

The pieces of Leon’s body merged together through the help of unknown ancient runes, which were not just helping it merge but transforming it altogether at an extraterrestrial level.

Its broken pieces, like a puzzle, started coming together around the golden heart until it took on the exact same appearance as Leon, completely naked.

A 6 feet 3 inches tall, about 191 cm, yet the previous effect of not eating regular food for three years straight, making him look thin, was gone.

His long white hair fluttered violently. The raging judgment of the heavens was about to descend on someone unlucky.

The muscle around his eyes twitched as they snapped open.

The loud, thunderous crackle made him shiver and jump in his place.

"What is this monster above in the cloud? I just got back to life, didn’t even get to emotionally support my feelings, yet another hell awaits me."

His hand went above his chest as he felt his normal heartbeat, which was beating in a noticeably slower interval. Yet, he was delighted that it was unlike the previous cannon of a heart.

The constant crackling of thunder was making him restless in his heart as the sound became louder and louder, with more and more thunder accumulating around it.

It would take me at least ten minutes to recover my mana. I don’t have much time—I need to escape this monster quickly.

Making a quick purchase from the cosmic shop, he caught the blue-colored liquid in a tube and drank it fully. There were ten of them floating around him; only after drinking the first one, his mana was fully recovered.

He stored the rest in his inventory beside the Vial of Second Breath, keeping three of them floating around—just as a precaution.

The Phoenix Feather was back on his neck, its rightful place.

He had mixed feelings about the feather—whether it had worked previously or if its effect had ended—as it looked no different than before. He didn’t know how he was revived; the feather might have done it, or something else. He didn’t know, but he wore it for precaution.

My fucking luck... there’s no other revive-after-death item left in the cosmic chat. The feather show is sold out, and the others were never in stock to begin with.

Clearing the distracting thoughts away, he activated Mana Body Enhancement at its full glory, Transcendent rank, making everything around him tremble just from the pressure.

Without stopping, the Raijin’s Descent was subsequently used in full force, as the lightning symbol etched onto the middle of his temple.

His whole body buzzed with endless power. Out of the corner of his eyes, he could see the thunder seeming to descend.

The relentless crackling was being heard.

His naked figure flashed as thunderous shockwaves of air were created just by his launch, with a small crater around the place he had taken off.

Leon felt the massive boost in his speed—almost twice as fast as before. He didn’t focus on it much, adjusting himself using his wind magic.

How much I’ve missed this feeling.

The feeling of using the magic of different elements without worries—doing what he wanted, when he wanted—it was exhilarating.

Holy energy could never do this.

As if offended by his words, the holy energy inside his heart stirred. Leon felt it too, but it never came out or acted out of control like before.

"Yes! That’s right—be a good little boy and act accordingly! You’ve already given me enough trouble!"

Leon had already covered tens of kilometres in just a few seconds. He felt satisfied.

He was about to look back at the cloud when suddenly the thunderous voice made his hair stand on end in terror.

Crackle! crackle!

He looked up in disbelief to see the kilometre-wide ashy-grey cloud, wrapped in thunder, just above him.

At the same time, in the distance, people were panicking in horror as the terrifying cloud seemed to be coming closer to them at an alarming speed.

They didn’t know if they could escape it. Still, everyone was ready to run, having stopped any other activities they had been doing beforehand.

Leon was shouting his guts, all the frustration accumulated up to that point, they are in the words.

"I AM NOT HAVING IT THIS TIME! YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO CHASE ME, YOU BASTARD!!"

He’d had enough of constant suffering. This massive thunderbolt would definitely turn him to ashes or kill him if it landed on him.

With a grin on his face, Leon, sure of his victory, stepped into the shimmering silver portal created right beside him.

His last glance went to the massive thundercloud.

"Haha, there’s too much grass on the ground—cut some of it if you’re that free, you freak! Want to kill me? No, I’m leaving."

As he stepped outside of the portal, a thunderous sound echoed in his ear.

He was still smirking when the heavens reminded him they had no sense of humor.

I’m already out—why am I hearing this sound? This one’s even louder than before.

"No... haha... I-It can’t be? C-Can it?" He shookly muttered.

For a heartbeat, the world went still—no wind, no sound—just the crushing silence of something inevitable drawing near.

He looked up in horror, and only a flash of light greeted him as a massive bolt of golden lightning was just a few metres away from hitting his naked body directly.

The golden bolt split the sky with a hiss, its heat washing over his skin in searing waves even before it touched him.

"FUCCCCKKKK YOUUUUUU UNIVERSSEEEEEE!!!!!"
