The Sovereign blocked the sneak attack easily and he immediately had to raise his other hand to block another attack that came from his opposite side! The man on his right suddenly unleashed a wave of mana that made the ground under the Soverignâs feet shake, and the Soverign felt his balance shifting as a large surge of gravity pressed down on him from behind. The Sovereignâs eyes narrowed into a glare as he realized that there was another attacker behind him, and the Sovereign quickly got rid of the two attackers on either side of him with a massive surge of mana that threw them back before he turned around and raised his hand to release a wave of fire that flew towards the fourth attacker!
PHWOOM!!
BOOM!
A massive explosion went off, but the Soverign couldnât even take a moment to think before three more superhumans appeared all around him and used their abilities to attack! The Sovereign was starting to get annoyed! The Superhumans werenât very powerful! The strongest of them was probably just an S Rank, but the annoying thing was the fact that they all had different powers that they were using at the same time! Anyone would get annoyed if they were attacked using both ice and fire from different directions! The Sovereign saw even more of the Superhumans appear from the shadows, and he felt his eyes narrowing into a glare as he wondered who the hell was doing this!? There was no way any of these people were the ones in charge! They were too weak! And from how they were easily throwing themselves at him without caring for their lives, the Sovereign was sure that someone was controlling them! There had to be someone more powerful sending these people here!
Clang! Clang! Clang!
The Soverign used his sword to block three daggers that were thrown by a man wearing all black, and the Soverign watched as the daggers sizzled the moment they landed on the floor. Those daggers were poisoned! The man who had thrown the daggers didnât seem to have any self-preservative tendencies as he suddenly charged towards the Soverign with two more daggers in his hand! There were three people running at the Soverign from his other side, and someone actually flew out from the ground right behind the Soverign with a sword positioned to try and take off his head! This scenario looked just like a cat that was being surrounded by hundreds of mice to try and wear it down, and the Sovereign felt that whoever had sent these people was looking down on him! The Sovereign felt anger bubbling inside his heart from the irritating wave of attacks, and he finally slammed his sword into the ground!
"ENOUGH!"
The Sovereign unleashed a massive wave of pure mana to blow everyone out of the castle walls! The superahums went flying like ragdolls and the ground cracked and splintered under the pressure! The castle walls blew outwards as the superhuams flew through them, and the sunlight filtered through and made the tower shine brighter. The Sovereign was about to continue the fight, but he stopped when he suddenly felt something different hit his senses! It was another attacker, but this one was nothing like the others! This one had power! So much power! A figure appeared from behind the Soverign, and the Soverign turned around to see a man in a black coat with a large purple sword pulled back! The Soverign had been so distracted in that single moment when he unleashed his power that he didnât even notice this man coming up from behind him! And now that he noticed it, he wasnât in a proper position to dodge! Jason had his face set in a look of pure concentration, and he activated a skill as he targeted the Sovereignâs right shoulder!

SLASH!
Jasonâs sword came down with supersonic force, and a massive galewind shot through the air as it tore through the Sovereignâs shoulder! Jasonâs plan had been simple from the start. Jason knew that the Sovereign was more powerful than him. No matter how many points Jason had collected in the last few minutes, it was impossible for him to try to reach the Soverignâs level of strength before the Soverign joined the battle! So rather than trying to take him head-on, Jason created a plan that would allow him to even the playing field! The first part of Jasonâs plan had been to distract the Sovereign. Ragnarâs attack on the Soverignâs dragon drew the Soverignâs attention outside the castle, and the constant attacks from the various superhumans in Jasonâs Legion also ensured that the Soverign wasnât paying any attention to Jason as he moved through the shadows. But the success of Jasonâs plan depended entirely on the second part of his attack!
Jason needed to make the Soverign angry! Someone like the Soverign that was far too powerful to even feel most attacks wouldnât grow angry if he was hit with one or two blows by those who were far weaker than him! But if there was one thing that Jason knew would make anyone angry, it was mindless attacks that were aimed at annoying you rather than hurting you! And that was why Jason had told his subordinates to focus on trying to annoy the Sovereign as much as possible! The subordinates had thrown water at the Soverignâs face! They used their gravity magic to make his sword slightly heavier, and they used earth magic to bury his feet in the ground! There were more than thirty superhumans in Jasonâs Legion and Jason used them all to push the Soverign to the very edge of madness! And once the Sovereign finally got angry enough, Jason appeared from the shadows to launch the real attack!
The moment Jason appeared, he quickly took note of which arm the Soverign was using to hold his sword! Jason only had one chance to land an attack, so he needed to make it count! And once Jason saw that the Sovereign was using the right arm to hold the sword tightly, Jason immediately brought the [Deathâs Mirage] down on that shoulder! Jasonâs attack tore through the Soverignâs right shoulder, and Jason thought that he would be able to take the arm off, but Jason was shocked when the Soverign suddenly switched his sword to his left hand in a split second! The Soverign brought his sword up and used it to deflect Jasonâs blade! The [Deathâs Mirage] tore out from the Soverignâs shoulder without being able to take the arm off, and Jasonâs eyes widened as he felt an intense pressure suddenly fill the entire room!
DOON!
PHWOOM!
The Soverignâs entire body glowed with the power of a thousand suns as he turned while raising his sword up and Jason immediately activated every single defensive artifact and skill in his arsenal at the same time as the Soverign swung his sword towards him!
"RARRRRGGGHHH!"KA-BOOM!!
It was as if someone had taken the full power of the sun and concentrated it into a single beam of pure, undeniable destruction! The Soverignâs attack tore through the castleâs east wall like a Gatling gun, and the flames surged out into the evening sky and lit up the entire city in brilliant yellow! The attack was so intense that the heat could be felt from miles away in every direction, and every single soldier and subordinate that had been fighting earlier stopped and stared up in shock from the raw power they could feel! It took a few seconds for the attack to finally die down, and by the time it did, the Soverign was the only one still standing. There was now a large hole on one side of the castle that had been melted by the attack, and every single subordinate around the Sovereign had been killed by the raw power he unleashed in his attack! The Soverign let out a harsh breath as he began calling his power back into his body! That had been one of his strongest attacks, and he knew that there was nothing that could survive a blast of that magnitude! There was no doubt in his mind that Jason was dead!
