Chapter 767: Pillow Talk (+16)

Gina was sure that the feeling she just experienced was stronger than the effects of any hard drug out there! Gina felt like she had been flying! Jason grinned as he slowly let Gina down to her feet, and Gina stumbled once her feet touched the ground! Gina immediately started falling, but Jason caught her before she could fall, and Gina smiled at him thankfully before leaning on him for support. Gina looked at Jason’s bloody lips, and she reached over and raised his upper lip slightly so that she could see the fangs peeking out from there. The fangs were long and sharp, and just looking at them made a shiver go through Gina’s body as she remembered the feeling that she had just experienced! Jason actually bit her with something this large?

Gina had a lot of questions about Jason’s current state. How did Jason start drinking blood? Was he going to have to drink only blood from now on? Was he weak to the sun? But the one question that Gina felt was the most important was the one she asked:

"Are these fangs... permanent?"

Gina wanted to know if this was how Jason was going to be for the rest of his life. This was such a big change, and Gina knew it would be difficult for anyone to get used to it. But for Jason to suddenly become a predator that had to consume other humans in order to survive, that was something that Gina had never wished for him before! Gina knew that there was no way Jason would be happy about this at all! Jason took in a deep breath, and he smiled at Gina before telling her that they could talk about everything once they were done taking their bath. Gina could see the sincerity in Jason’s eyes, and she knew that Jason just wanted them to be comfortable while having the conversation, so she nodded and told him that she understood. The two of them had their bath together, and Jason helped Gina for most of it since she still couldn’t stand properly for a few more minutes. And it wasn’t until a few minutes after both of them finished with their bath that we find them on the bed together once again! Jason was lying on his back, and Gina was straddling his lap and bouncing on him with intensity!

Jason told Gina about how the vympirs were divided into various tiers based on the sun that affects them the most. How there was an entire world of vympirs out there called Nox. He told Gina about the Vympir Gene and how it improved all of his stats, but also gave him a weakness against sunlight, and also about how he had to first deal with his [Blood Thirst] by drinking blood before he could eat any normal food. When Jason was telling Gina about how he had to take blood from Hesbaeth back in Merivo’s Paradise, he could see Gina’s face souring slightly, and Jason immediately knew that Gina was jealous. Gina knew the effect Jason’s fangs had on her, so she didn’t like the thought of Hesbaeth feeling that same way when it was just the two of them in that world! But Jason managed to reassure her easily.

"Don’t worry, I only drank from her wrist. I wanted you to be the first person I really drank from."

Gina felt a blush growing on her face when she saw the knowing look on Jason’s face, and Gina realized that Jason had noticed her jealousy! Gina immediately ducked her head and allowed her hair to fall over her face so Jason wouldn’t see the dopey smile growing on her lips! Gina knew that it was strange to feel jealous of Hesbaeth at all, but for some reason, the fact that Jason predicted her jealousy and kept his first drink for her meant more than she could put into words! Jason smiled as he saw Gina’s shyness, and he caressed her legs before he continued talking.

"Right now, I don’t know if there is any way to go back to being a regular human, but there are a lot of responsibilities that come with this power. Gillian was the previous ruler of Nox, and I inherited her Blood Oath, so I have a right to the throne of Nox."

Gina’s eyes widened slightly when she heard this, and she quickly asked Jason if he was interested in taking that. Jason spoke up with a small frown and said he wasn’t sure.

"It’s a lot of responsibility, and even though I don’t mind taking responsibility, I don’t want to drag the entire family into some other world just because of some title I never asked for. But the throne of Nox isn’t what I’m really worried about. You see, the council is missing two seats now, and I am the strongest being from the two domains where the replacement council members should come from..."

Gina hummed as she immediately understood what Jason was trying to say.

"You think they will try to make you take a seat? Is that even possible? I thought they branded you as a criminal."

"I don’t really know."
