Chapter 940: Traveling to Another Continent

Selena was sitting between Nathan’s legs, leaning on his chest. Meanwhile, Nathan just hugged her lightly while saying, “I’m glad that your father doesn’t oppose our relationship.”

“Me too. If he opposed it, I would have done everything I could to make him accept it.” Selena nodded in agreement. “Fortunately, it’s not necessary.”

“What are you? Are you trying to beat up your father?” Nathan smiled wryly.

Nathan chuckled. They had accomplished all their goals, so it was time to look at their future. “So, what are you going to do now?”

“What do you mean? If you’re talking about going back to the Ashton family, it would be just for several days.”

“No. I mean, what are you planning to do to grow your strength?”

“That’s…” Selena looked down. She truly couldn’t say she wanted to join the battle against the Divine Hand.

Nathan seemed to have realized it and became the first one to mention it. “Do you want to join me against the Divine Hand?”

“!!!” Selena raised her eyebrows. “Is that…”

Selena was unsure. If she uttered a wrong word, it would feel like she was the one trying to influence him.

Selena noticed something off from his tone. “Why do you sound like you’re not planning to bring us?”

Nathan smiled wryly. “That’s because I don’t.”

“!!!” Selena looked surprised. This travel would be much more dangerous than anything they had seen so far. After all, it was a very long trip, and there was no telling what they would encounter in the sea or on the new continent. “Reasons?”

Selena said, “In that case, I will stay behind. I’ll protect everything you’ve built here and become a reason for you to return here.
