Nathan closed his eyes for a moment before glancing at the others.

“Well, if you are talking about me, my divinity is the sun.” Jinwu shrugged. “If you choose me, I can manipulate heat in the area. I’m sure you’ve heard my legend about burning the Earth. Well, that’s it.

“With that little divinity, I can probably turn a rainforest into a desert. If I’m able to reach my peak power, I can burn the whole world.”

“I have told you about my divinity.” Fenrir nodded. “It’s my absolute power.”

Nidhogg thought for a moment before saying, “My divinity is related to chaos. Basically, my flame will transform once more. It will start to affect the very structure itself.

“For example, if I burn a tree right now, it will just be reduced to ashes because my fire is just a stronger version of normal fire right now.

“However, Chaos Fire is different. The tree might start to disintegrate because of my fire. That’s because the structures that make up that tree are getting so chaotic that they’re moving apart from each other.

“You can consider it as a simpler version of directional control that you have seen from Duke Coline.”

Nathan closed his eyes. Anubis was definitely the best choice. That meant he had to choose two more beasts between Fenrir, Nidhogg, and Jinwu. Mae and Peng didn’t plan to join the debate, so Nathan had to choose the combination that could make the trip safer.

Of course, he had to consider the upgraded soul contract as well, since the situation would change drastically once the contract came into play. Besides, Jinwu and Nidhogg’s roles were similar, considering they were usually holding back the flying aliens.

After five minutes of silence, Nathan opened his eyes as though he had made his decision.
