Albert walked back to the inn with Selena.

“Lady Selena. Do you think they will work together with us?” Albert asked with a serious expression.

“You’re a minister. You know this more than I do…” Selena smiled wryly.

Albert sighed. “The enemy is a bit tricky this time, so I don’t expect much. But they will most likely cooperate with us. In fact, they want to push us to confront Garam Haygaiden.

“The only problem is whether we can deal with them or not. If not, the Liaystian Kingdom will take this chance to eliminate them and take full credit.

Albert could see why Julius arranged it that way. If Nathan succeeded, Nathan would become famous. This achievement would simply erase any intention of harming Nathan or dragging him into their matters, which would ultimately protect Flora.

Selena nodded. “Then we’ll just wait for their movement first.”

“Yes.”

Both of them returned to their suites. For Albert, he was accompanied by Minister Kevin and a few people from the special forces created for the Divine Hand.

While they remained passive, Rood immediately returned to the Summoner Division in the capital city to report everything.

The commander of the Summoner Division, Mattheus Narvan, crossed his arms while furrowing his eyebrows. “Is this information true?”

“I don’t see any reason for them to lie to us.” Rood shook his head.

“They’re just incompetent. To not be able to deal with these terrorists… they should feel ashamed.” Lavinster snorted while rolling his eyes.

“Shut up!” Mattheus slapped Lavinster on the face.

The crisp sound echoed loudly inside the room. Lavinster covered his cheek in shock. “You… You…”

“I will tell my father about this!” Lavinster shouted angrily.

“Tell him! Let’s see whether your father slaps you harder or not!” Mattheus slammed the table with his hand. “I’m your father’s friend. He sent you to me so that you get to experience a lot of things. I’m not working for your father!

“Even your father needs to give some respect to the woman who came with the envoy!

“Rood, they might be planning to let us take the credit, but will we dare to take the credit? We’re talking about a world class summoner here. If they fail and we’re the ones doing it, then it’s fine for us to take the credit. However, if they don’t, we don’t dare to take the credit.

“It looks like the Azilia Kingdom is planning to let this guy handle it. Then, it shall be done. We can finally measure this monster for the first time. Vivian might be his teacher, but his backer might be someone else. If that backer can kill Garam Haygaiden, it can mean a lot to us. So, let him do whatever he wants for now.

“Do I really need to bring him again…?” Rood smiled wryly.
