Chapter 1022: Turning the Civilians into Aliens

While Nathan and Selena had a hard time against their respective opponents, the same couldn’t be said for Neyeid and Revon.

“So, you’re just a foolish child who somehow survives… that banquet.” Garam looked down on her.

“Somehow, huh? I guess that word is pretty accurate as well.” Evelyn released the killing intent she had hidden for the last seven years. “It looks like you don’t even remember someone like me. But that’s good, you can remember it in your grave. Oh, wait. You won’t even have a grave.”

Garam’s eyes turned completely black. All of a sudden, there was an eerie calm, as though both Evelyn and Garam stopped releasing their ena for a few seconds.

But during that time, the four others charged forward.

They summoned their respective familiars and clashed with each other, destroying the ceiling and returning to the surface.

Neyeid waved his blades so hard that Wals was launched very far from their position so that they wouldn’t bother Evelyn.

“…” Neyeid, despite accomplishing such a thing, glanced at his right arm as scratches suddenly appeared out of nowhere. It was as if Wals had managed to scratch him when he struck him earlier.

Unlike Neyeid, Revon was the second strongest person in the group. His strength and talent were once known as someone who could become a mercenary king like the Dragon King.

Even though he had yet to become a world class summoner, he wasn’t someone an arcane level summoner could handle.

Evelyn just remained silent, as though she never cared about that thing. If there was such a crystal, even if he shattered it here, he wouldn’t be there to witness it.

She knew that their original plan must be to create chaos and show themselves so that the people would fear them.

However, because they had taken down Lucas and raided their base, there was no way for them to do it. That was why people wouldn’t know the reason for those humans turning into aliens.

“How can I die before you bastards?” Evelyn took another leap and punched Garam.

Garam raised the crystal as if trying to use it as a shield. There was no way Evelyn would have destroyed it.

To his surprise, Evelyn didn’t even hesitate to punch the crystal, shatter it, and knock Garam away.

“Kh.” Garam gritted his teeth, enduring the pain. “Ha… Ha… You’re a killer like me now. You’ll be the one responsible for all the chaos in all four kingdoms.”
