Chapter 1112: Another World Antarctica is at the North Pole?

“Ladies and gentlemen. I present to you the North Pole.”

“!!!” A smile appeared on Bella’s face as she couldn’t help but cheer. “Are we the first ones to reach this place? What is that huge wall of ice? Is there really a land made of ice?”

“This is amazing. I have never seen anything like this before. To create an ice that massive, only a place with such a low temperature like this can do it. To think that this world has something like this to offer.” Melissa shook her head helplessly.

“I have learned a lot of things about the continent. The continents are formed over millions or billions of years.” Charlotte gasped. “And this place should be the same. Can we dig here? I’m sure we can find a lot of things.”

Vivian shook her head. “Why should we do that? Your research isn’t even in this field. Don’t disturb nature just out of mere curiosity. We will be the ones paying the price for it.”

“Can I brag about this to everyone? Well, they won’t even believe it if I tell them there’s a land completely made of ice.” Neyeid smirked. “Damn. I really want to brag about this.”

“Dear wife and daughter… I’m sorry for witnessing such a thing by myself. But I will tell you all about it once I follow you.” Revon muttered, saddened by the fact he couldn’t share this sight with his family.

“Thank you for your blessing, Lord.” Christopher closed his eyes, praying again.

Evelyn smiled. Just finding this alone meant all the information about Erendtall was correct. As long as they finished their business here, the revenge could finally begin in earnest.

Without Nathan, they wouldn’t even dream of seeing this kind of sight. “Thank you.”

“!!!” Nathan was surprised, but he soon smiled. “I should be the one thanking you. Without you, this expedition won’t even start.”

Evelyn smiled. “As much as I want to let everyone see all this, I guess we should get going.”

“Yeah.” Nathan turned to the water as he recalled Kun. “Thank you, Kun. Get some rest.”

“Yes, Master. Please be careful.”

“Mhmm.” Nathan nodded, while Evelyn gave an order. “Grab your own things and get ready. We will head straight to that icy land. I won’t use any of my power for no reason since it’s a land we’re unfamiliar with. All of you should conserve your stamina as well.

“Considering the amount of energy we have right now, we will be taking one or two days of rest once we reach that land to make sure we’re at our peak when exploring this place.”

“Yes!” The people cheered, excited to explore this place. They hurried back to their living quarters to gather their items before regrouping in less than five minutes.

They first jumped to the nearest iceberg while Evelyn used the space cube to store the entire ship.

Once the ship was gone, the group started to leap from one ice floe to another, gradually approaching the ice cliff.

The moment they were standing underneath the ice cliff, they finally understood the true size of the ice.

“What the actual…” Neyeid gasped. “How high is this wall actually?”

“One hundred meters?” Revon gasped. “How much ice does this place actually have?”

The others couldn’t contain their surprise either. Even Evelyn couldn’t picture a scene where a human made all this, no matter how strong they were.

Nathan, on the other hand, couldn’t help but furrow his eyebrows. ‘Now that I think about it, the North Pole on Earth should be filled with small pieces of ice, right? That’s where most icebreakers go, no? On the other hand, the one with this kind of tall wall is in Antarctica, not in the Arctic.

‘I guess in this world, it’s the other way around. The North Pole has all these things, while the South Pole has smaller ice.’

Nathan couldn’t help but add after hearing everyone’s reaction. “You shouldn’t just look at the surface. Go down if you want to see the true size of this ice.”

“Huh?” Neyeid and the others turned their heads. Once they came closer to this wall, Nathan didn’t continue the guard duty because the number of aliens had decreased drastically to the point where Kun alone was enough.

Neyeid and Revon exchanged looks before jumping into the water. They got another shock of their lives when they realized they couldn’t see how deep the ice actually was. It felt like the ice continued to expand into the dark bottom.

Neyeid and Revon reemerged from the water with eyes filled with disbelief.

“I couldn’t see how deep this freaking ice is.” Neyeid shook his head helplessly. “It’s true. Just how much ice does this place actually have?”

Curious, several people either jumped or stood on the edge and took a peek directly, only to find the same thing.

“Wow? What is this ice? Just imagine the entire continent with only ice…” Bella gasped. “This is a natural wonder of the world. To think I would live long enough to see something like this.”

“But you are still young.” Neyeid rolled his eyes.

“I was supposed to die at that banquet.”

“…” Neyeid scratched the back of his head. “Fair enough.”

“No. You should imagine what would happen if this ice melts.” Nathan pointed at the ice wall casually, mentioning a problem that was happening on Earth.

“This kind of ice melting…” They couldn’t help but gasp, thinking the same thing.

Charlotte raised her hand. “Won’t it cause more water in the ocean? And because there’s no more space, it means the sea level is increasing. I don’t know how big this ice is, but if it is the same size as a continent, then most of the land on our continent will be covered by water.”

The people were terrified at the thought alone. Even Evelyn asked, “Are you saying the aliens might attack this place to flood our living space?”

“Both aliens and humans have the chance to do it.” Nathan shrugged. It didn’t have to be global warming. If there were a powerful terrorist organization, they could gradually melt the ice with their world class summoners’ power.

The thought of an organization terrorizing the whole world alone was terrifying. But this wasn’t the purpose of their arrival here.

“Anyway, let’s go up. We have to explore this place first before thinking about the future.”
