“Mae, send them a message!” Nathan ordered Mae through telepathy.

However, he had just escaped Bloody Fiend’s Gehenna. Because he flew up with such a huge fireball, Sniper immediately spotted him and sent forth an arrow.

Nathan turned around and fired at the incoming arrow.

As expected from Jinwu’s sunbeam, it penetrated the arrow and dispersed the energy to the surroundings. However, it lacked the robustness of Fenrir’s Absolute Bullet.

Once it dispersed all that energy, the sun bullet also vanished.

‘To think even Jinwu’s bullet is barely enough to fight against his arrow…’ Nathan was surprised. Each of his bullets was imbued with divinity after all. Their power was beyond normal bullets.

“…” On the other hand, Sniper didn’t expect Nathan to be able to fight against his arrow.

However, another surprise came when he kicked the air and launched himself away from the battlefield.

The two exchanged nods and hurriedly chased after Nathan. Sniper caught up soon.

“Why are you asking us to chase after him? Although your insight has been recognized by Father, it doesn’t mean you can order us as you like.” Bell Crusher frowned.

“In that case, I will ask you. Do you have absolute confidence that you can take him down by yourself?”

“Just bringing this fact alone will be enough for Father, so we might as well join hands and use all our strength to chop off that man’s head and present it to Father.”

Bell Crusher and Bloody Fiend exchanged nods. They agreed with Sniper’s assessment.

Although it didn’t feel good that they had to listen to him, they couldn’t afford to fail either.

“Lift me up, Bell!” Sniper leaped to the top of the black bell.

Bell clicked his tongue but still cooperated. He lifted the black bell into the air while still making the bell follow him.

“They are chasing us now.” Mae warned. “I don’t think we will be able to escape from them.”

“If you are able to manifest a crystal armor of mine, you can fly freely and much faster,” Jinwu sounded frustrated. “Should I change with Fenrir so that you can run faster?

Anubis had been recalled back since he couldn’t maintain his humanoid form without his domain.

So, there was only Mae and Jinwu (weapon form) with him.

Before Nathan could say anything, Jinwu warned him. “Watch out. I feel massive energy on our backs.”

Nathan glanced back and saw Sniper standing on top of the black bell, ready to release his arrow.

“Jinwu!”

“Oh!”

Jinwu gathered his strength into the sniper rifle. The moment the enemy released his arrow, Nathan leaped into the air and spun his body before pressing the trigger. “180 no scope.”

“Looks like you are still enjoying yourself even when we’re in a pinch, Master. That’s a relief…” Mae smiled as if nothing had happened.

The collision between Jinwu’s bullet and Black Arrow resulted in Black Arrow’s victory because Sniper simply charged more power compared to Jinwu.

The residual energy hit him as Mae expanded her tails to absorb the impact.

Boom!

Both Mae and Nathan were blasted away, but they managed to slide on the ground on their feet and came to a halt.

Their enemies finally caught up.

Nathan’s expression turned solemn. “Looks like we are in serious trouble now.”
