Chapter 1234: Unexpected Variable

The second prince dropped his jaw to the ground. He simply couldn’t believe that the Grand Tutor would actually lower his head.

“I don’t even know who you are.” Nathan squinted his eyes. It was a valid statement. If it could be settled with just an apology from a random person, people might cause even more trouble.

“I am Henry Kharasta Dion, the Grand Tutor of the empire. I promise you I will investigate this matter properly.”

Nathan shook his head. “Since you apologize on his behalf, I will not make a big deal of his sneak attack against me.”

“Thank you.”

Even Nathan didn’t expect someone at this level to apologize. It was the same as demanding Sullivan to apologize.

However, Nathan only mentioned the attack, not what happened before that.

That was why he also didn’t lie to the Grand Tutor about this matter. He didn’t plan to let it go just like this.

Obviously, he still intended to make the second prince his bait. And it looked like his plan succeeded.

“Your Highness…” Henry’s voice was deep and heavy, as though he was tired because of this problem. “Although I don’t know the cause of this problem, I know two things.

“First, you launched a sneak attack on him, which might kill him… You attacked him first. Second, you harassed his woman.

Vivian’s face was still red, as if she were enjoying the whole situation. What made it frustrating was the fact that Melissa had been worrying about Nathan the whole time, while she was enjoying it.

Bella only chuckled. Whether they were rivals or something else, these two were indeed close. They might pick up each other’s habits. And Vivian just happened to pick ‘that’ up.

“W-What?!” Vivian’s body shook as she hurriedly straightened her back. She faced away, closed her eyes, and coughed as if she was trying to act as if nothing had happened, but that face still remained.

Nathan smiled wryly as the correct choice would be to remain silent in this argument.

Bella approached him, asking, “Still, why are you doing something so reckless?”

Nathan only shook his head. “Let’s head to the inn first. I’m tired after having done a lot of things for the past few weeks.”

“Ah, right?” Bella thought Nathan just didn’t want to talk about it, especially in the street. Unlike other cities, the street was not so empty, so a lot of people might hear them. “Let’s go to the inn first.”

“I can’t sense anyone, but that old man might be one of them.”

Nathan thought for a moment before summoning Mae. It was better to use an illusion to talk with them.

Mae would transmit Nathan’s words through the illusion and vice versa.
