“This is ridiculous.” Mae clutched her head. “This is simply the same as bringing down a terrorist organization that has the backing of the empire itself! Getting help from the empire means our information will leak. Doing other things might be seen by those people.”

“…” Nathan thought the same, but it couldn’t be helped. “Well, I just have to warn Neyeid that our movements are limited in the empire. Even though they have received help from the Eleren family, they must not have the entire empire.

“Even though it’s going to be hard, we just have to carefully take one step at a time.” Nathan turned to Anubis. “And that first step… Can you heal the people from that prison?”

“In that case, let’s treat the people who have been kidnapped. The rest will be handled by that doctor.”

“I will head to the city to observe the situation first.” Mae understood her current role.

Then, Anubis transformed into the fragment form and took the shape of a grenade launcher pistol. It could shoot just a single person or multiple people at once, depending on the need. Of course, it was all related to the recovery.

Now that he had dealt with the enemies, Nathan teleported back to the place he had left Gregory.

Nathan was quite surprised that in just a short amount of time, Gregory had actually treated almost everyone.

They didn’t have enough clothes, but he certainly had done a basic treatment on them.

“Master?! Gregory came to a halt after noticing a presence.

“It looks like you have handled everything.” Nathan nodded with a serious expression.

“I’ve given them first aid, but we will have to move them from here. At this rate, they will be frozen to death.”

Nathan agreed. As a doctor, he had a water familiar and a fire familiar for temperature control and first aid.

He might have a lot of ena in his body, but he didn’t sense any threat from Gregory. It looked like he had become a summoner solely to become a better doctor.

This heart was quite rare, and Nathan quite liked it.

“I have taken care of those people. I’m going to confirm this before we return. Is there anyone else controlling the city?”

“I see. So, where should we teleport? I need to inform you, but I completely have no place to stay there.”

“I will check that place first. I’ll be back in one minute.”

Nathan first teleported to find this barrack. Once he confirmed there was no one inside, he returned and brought the people.

Gregory quickly took care of everything else, while Nathan checked the situation of the city, wondering if there were any other strong opponents.

Fortunately, he couldn’t find anyone else here.

“Master. Allow me to formally pledge my allegiance to you for one year. I will dedicate my life to you for one year from today.” Gregory dropped to one knee and formally accepted Nathan’s condition.

“Please get up. As I promised, I won’t make you something you don’t want. To be honest, I just want you to be my doctor, concocting medicine for me,” explained Nathan.

“Concocting medicine?”

“Yes. Not like the ones you see in this place.”

“If it’s just a medicine, I can do it. I should be able to make most of the medicine in the world as long as I have its formula. But as a doctor myself, I do have three important formulas.

“The first one is a medicine that can cover the wound of a crystal armor stage summoner or lower in an instant. It’s only limited to superficial wounds, but it’s good to stop bleeding.

“The second one is a medicine that will act like a vitamin, strengthening your eyes. The third one is a medicine that can increase one’s physical strength by 10% for 10 minutes without side effects, but you can only take this medicine once every month. It will be effective even for the crystal fusion stage summoners.

“However, as you probably know, I have no money to secure the medicine. And if it’s not too much to ask, I’d like to stay here for the time being. At least until they show a sign of recovery.”

Nathan closed his eyes for a moment. “I don’t care whether you stay here or not. In fact, it’s fine if you stay here because I will set up a base in this city. The food and clothing will be provided as well.

“All right. This is the first gift.” Nathan raised the pistol and shot it into the center of the hall. The explosion produced a wave of energy that covered the entire area.

“Master?” Gregory panicked at first, but soon, he noticed what Nathan was doing. “They are recovering… No way…”

Nathan wanted to say something, but he noticed that his communication ring suddenly gave a signal that he had received someone’s call.

“You do the rest.” Nathan just exited the room to receive the call. He was usually the one who called others, not the other way around. So, this felt like a distress call instead.

He wondered who actually needed help.
