The alien was dumbfounded. It never expected Nathan could injure him so easily.
âGood work, Summoner. However, donât be too complacent. That was effective only because the alien didnât expect you to have this kind of ability. The next time, the alien would know what it should do to avoid that lock.â
âI know that.â Nathan could imagine how the aliens would avoid it next time.
âStill, now youâve got good offensive and defensive abilities. This should be enough to handle this battle.â
Nathan agreed. âIn that case, letâs wrap it up.â
"Fenrir. Donât stop!" Nathan shouted while approaching the alien.
The alien raised its other arm while the other was trying to regenerate. The arm turned into a blade as it swung down. The alien released the black cell like an extension of his blade, cleaving Nathan and everything in its path.
Nathan jumped to the side, avoiding it. He couldnât help but see the sword mark that stretched for over a hundred meters. It was deep enough for Nathan to be concerned about because the strength put into that single slash might be enough to cleave Fenrir in two if he wasnât careful.
The extension of the blade dropped and disappeared. It was as if the black cell expanded just for a second before returning to its original state.
Nathan knew that the core of the alien might contain ena, which would be beneficial for the summoner. But it was the source of energy for their regeneration, which was taken advantage of by the black cell.
That was why an elite class alien might not have any fancy moves other than their unique ability, but the black cell could easily give them one.
Since Nathan had stopped to avoid its attack, the alien leaped forward and punched Nathan. The latter also threw a punch, but with the help of Spatial Collapse.
Yet, for some reason, the Spatial Collapse didnât blow away the alien. In fact, Nathan could see the alien was leaning forward as if it could ignore the power of the Spatial Collapse.
Its body started to disappear, but unfortunately for the alien, several bullets rained down on it with no sign.
"!!!" The alien was alerted by its instinct and looked up before jumping back, avoiding the bullets.
The bullets curved at the last moment and chased after the aliens, but after taking a closer look, the alien realized it had been tricked. The bullets werenât that strong, so it coated its body with the black cell and took the bullet head-on.
Unfortunately for the alien, these bullets were nothing but a distraction. Fenrir appeared from the side and smacked the alien with its paw, scratching the alienâs head.
"..." The alien bounced a few times on the ground before standing back up. His head was almost sliced into pieces because of the claws, so the alien had to divide the energy for the arm regeneration and the face recovery, which slowed down the recovery.
Nathan and Fenrir didnât plan to let the alien have even a small chance.
A lot of aliens surrounded them. But the encirclement was completely useless against Nathan. The latter simply teleported above the elite class alien.
The enemy seemed to have expected it. Two transformed warrior class aliens jumped on Nathan, trying to kill him when he tried to attack.
Unfortunately for them, one of them got blasted by Fenrirâs absolute force while the other was stopped by Qilinâs power.
The elite class alien turned around and raised both arms as Nathan once again used the Spatial Collapse.
The alien didnât have a favorable posture, so the Spatial Collapse overpowered it. The void came crashing down, causing the entire mountain to vibrate.
Fenrir ignored the attacks from other aliens. He carried the injury as long as he could get closer to the elite class alien.
"Summoner. Donât you think itâs time to upgrade your explosive bullet?" Fenrir smirked while using his Force Field to pressure the alien while pinning him down with his paw.
"Huh?" Nathan was confused for a second. Fenrir must be thinking about the upgrade he had earlier. The Space-Time Prison wouldnât be able to upgrade his explosive bullet, but the concept might be able to transform it into a different thing.
"Oohhh!" Nathan was so focused on the Space-Time Prison that he forgot about his bullets. The bullets were his foundation, so even if he had elements, he shouldnât forget about them.
He only thought about using it as it is instead of upgrading it earlier.
With Fenrirâs words, he imagined one thing.
He first changed his element core to the space element while forming a small ball in the gap between the two hands.
Nathan took his original concept, which was to create the bullet in the microworld. But this time, he didnât make the bullet itself. He combined it with the concept of the âbody.â
In other words, he used this original concept to make a shell for the bullet instead of the bullet itself.
To stop it from getting destroyed by that power, he poured the time element to stop the time inside the bullet, which solidified the shell.
Then, he used the space element as the core, specifically the void. He inserted the void. It could be said he used the original concept again to stuff the shell with as much void as possible. The Time Seal was able to withstand the pressure to a certain degree.
"I donât know how powerful this is, so... jump!" Nathan shouted before jumping up. Fenrir did the same thing, feeling the threat from that new explosive bullet.
The alien opened its mouth slightly as if realizing what was in front of it. Unfortunately, it couldnât do anything, as the Time Seal had worn off. The void broke open the shell and expanded.
In that instant, an immeasurable force exploded, causing the entire area to shake as if an earthquake had just hit.
Unlike the previous explosive bullet, this was an explosion caused by void expansion, so the dust didnât get kicked. The void simply expanded and bent everything outward.
The ground turned into a crater, trees bent until they snapped, and boulders got flattened. Nothing was able to withstand the impact.
In fact, it was much bigger than Nathan originally expected, to the point where both he and Fenrir also got hit. Fortunately, they were at the edge of the blast, so they only sustained minor injuries.
But even Fenrir, who suggested it, didnât expect this level of firepower.
"Void Bomb."
