Bella nodded solemnly. Although she was confused in some parts, it was better this way. She shouldnāt know the entire thing about his innate ability in case she accidentally tells someone about it.
And by keeping the information incomplete, she didnāt have to answer any questions regarding it as well.
"So, what do we do now?" Nathan asked. Since Bella had agreed, it should be fine to proceed.
Mae considered the request. "Hmm. We can actually do both things. If we use your blood as one of the sacrificial items, it should be possible.
"Gods and goddesses perform miracles because they want faith from the people and to accumulate karma. If you use your blood as a sacrificial item, we can summon gods and goddesses.
"Itās just... I donāt know anyone with this kind of power. If you want another Tenko like me, I have an idea, but sheās a divine beast, not necessarily a humanoid familiar. We are beasts who want to look like humans after all."
Nathan scratched the back of his head. "Well, I do have one in mind. I havenāt summoned anyone from this pantheon, but itās not like theyāre weak either."
"What pantheon is it?" Mae tilted her head in confusion. Bella wondered who it was and how Nathan had found this information. Her doubt was quickly answered in their conversation.
"Hindu."
"Now that I think about it, I have heard of that Pantheon. Isnāt there a story about a certain journey?" Mae frowned.
Bella realized the pantheons seemed to know each other. In other words, their world was actually filled with multiple pantheons. It was no wonder Nathan had this knowledge.
Nathan smiled wryly while raising one finger. "It will be Goddess Maya. Itās just... I donāt know what kind of sacrificial items that can bring her here."
"I see." Mae nodded in understanding. "In that case, there are two paths left. First, you can strengthen her familiars first while coming up with an idea for the next familiar. Secondly, I will personally teach her about illusion art."
"Or maybe I should just summon Loki?" Nathan scratched the back of his head. "I donāt really want to..."
"Loki? Isnāt he Fenrirās father?"
"Yes. The God of Mischief. If we summon him, he might become a powerful force. However, the problem is his mischievousness. Even the gods and goddesses from Asgard canāt handle his mischief. I donāt know if I can do it or not." Nathan let out a long sigh. "I donāt want things to suddenly become hard because of him."
"It doesnāt look like a good idea." Mae agreed with him. From what sheād heard about the God of Mischief, it was indeed better for him not to be summoned. After all, the God of Mischief might be even harder to handle than Asmodeus.
"In that case, letās do what we can first. Iām going to think about the sacrificial items to summon Goddess Maya." Nathan nodded.
Mae turned to Bella. "Are you fine with this arrangement?"
Bella nodded furiously. There was no way she would reject it. Nathan had carefully considered it, and the reasons were also understandable. So, it was definitely the best arrangement for her. "Still, what about your blood?"
"Iām not planning to fight anyone right now, so I donāt think my body will lose a lot of blood. Iām planning to stay quiet for the next one or two weeks. So, I guess I can evolve four of your familiars. The only problem is the materials."
"For now, why not tell us which familiars you want to evolve?" Mae asked.
"It will be my lifebound familiar, of course." Bella contemplated. "As for the rest, Iām still thinking about it."
"In that case, letās do it." Nathan nodded.
Bella started summoning her familiars. Since they were going to consider who would be receiving this chance, it was better to discuss it directly with all the parties involved.
After a discussion that lasted for over four hours, they finally picked four familiars. They were Rxyan the Water Elemental, Syphon the Mist, Gast the Smoke, and Jane the Illusion.
These four would be the familiars that Nathan helped after considering the requirements as well as their current progress.
After all, Nathan could see who was the closest to evolution.
Rxyan was a great elemental, so his evolution allowed him to become the High Elemental, which was actually the same rank as an Ancient Spirit, which was a higher rank than Floraās great spirit.
In fact, Nathan planned to upgrade Floraās spirits to Ancient Spirits the moment he returned. It would be quite amazing to see multiple Ancient Spirits, considering Vivianās spirit, who was the one taking care of the world tree, was also an ancient spirit.
Syphon was a half-human, half-bird being. Her appearance looked like a harpy, but she retained her human hands as her wings emerged from her back.
After Nathanās help, Syphon would become a legendary bird, equal to that of a griffin or a thunderbird, but it was still one level below the likes of Jinwu.
He planned to help Gast the Smoke, who, despite being known as an elemental, looked like a golem. He, too, would become a great elemental, but his advancement had to wait until next week until Nathan recovered.
The same applied to Jane the Illusion, Bellaās lifebound familiar. Still, as one would expect from a lifebound familiar. She was the closest one in evolution.
Still, Nathan asked Mae to teach the illusion art to both Jane and Bella. He hoped that Bella could become strong. He didnāt know whether it was possible for her to become a crystal fusion stage summoner before the battle against the Godfather, but as long as she got stronger, it would make him a bit relieved.
Though it looked like Nathan had been focusing on one thing so much that he forgot about another thing.
"This..." Nathan scratched the back of his head while looking away, embarrassed. He had been so fixated on Bella for the last two days that he forgot about Luna.
Luna squinted her eyes. "Not fair."
