Evelyn’s body shook. She was holding her anger as her hand was pinching the corner of Nathan’s shirt.

“…” Nathan looked at her face first but turned back as he didn’t do anything. Doing something would just expose Evelyn’s emotions or might even force her anger to burst.

He finally understood the entire picture of the Bloody Banquet.

The Death Society was basically a thorn in the dynasty’s and the empire’s side, so they joined hands to get rid of them.

However, Andreas gave them the information about the purge, which allowed them to escape. At this rate, the Eleren family might be involved in securing the transport, which allowed them to escape.

And with the Godfather’s information, especially about the war between the black cell and the aliens, they came to Gratzel with one goal in mind.

The black cell must have known the alien’s intention in this world. He was convinced after seeing the Eleren family.

The emperor contemplated. “I only have three questions left. How did you fool my family from the beginning?”

“The person who recruited me was Alex Klorin. He was connected to the Godfather, but he died during the battle for the throne.”

The emperor definitely recognized this name. He was one of the people who died during his battle to get this throne. They were from a different faction, so he thought nothing about him, and the people he recruited would still be loyal to him either way.

But this made a perfect cover for his entry. What he didn’t expect was that the Erwih family had a traitor before Andreas.

It looked like the Godfather had made his move before he even became famous. It was a clever move to prepare against them, considering the situation had indeed led to a purge. Without that kind of preparation, the Death Society would have vanished from this world in that purge.

“Are there any other agents from the Death Society in this dynasty or in my family?”

“To avoid being seen, there is no need for a lot of connections. The Death Society only needs one connection, but at a very high place.”

The emperor nodded in understanding. This explained the Eleren family’s situation as well.

He had been satisfied with all his past crimes, so the emperor chose to ask his last question. “Where are the people from the Death Society hiding in the empire?”

Andreas didn’t answer that question. Regrettably, Mae shook her head, showing that Andreas didn’t know this information.

The emperor let out a long sigh. “To think that they are hiding this deep…”

The emperor turned to the two elders and Johnson before asking, “Do you have any questions or is this enough to satisfy all of you?”

The two elders simply nodded. They didn’t care much about the Death Society, and they were still having a hard time processing the matter of the black cell and the aliens.

However, Johnson was obsessed with revenge, so he wanted to ask one question. “Are you involved in the murder of my family in one way or another?”

“I gave them the information. That’s it.”

Johnson bit his lip, but he didn’t do anything. In the end, he knew this much. Without that information, they wouldn’t find his territory tempting to attack.

But if Andreas was involved directly in their murders or if there were other involvements that he had yet to know, the situation might differ.

“Thank you for allowing me to clarify it, Your Majesty.” Johnson politely lowered his head.

The emperor nodded and turned to Nathan. “Since we are done, it’s your turn to ask the questions.”

Nathan smiled. He first glanced at Evelyn, wondering if she wanted to ask a question, but since she hadn’t regained her composure, he chose to step forward first.

Nathan’s question was simple, but it was what should be asked if they wanted to handle the Death Society.

“What is the Death Society’s plan right now?”
