Frequency waved his sword down as Nathan leaped to the side. The sword that reached the ground hit it so hard that the entire area cracked.
Nathan then turned around and formed his Void Bullet, but this time containing all the heat from the sun.
Frequency couldnât help but furrow his eyebrows. On the one hand, he could stop this attack. On the other hand, it would cost him too much.
So, he chose to jump away to avoid it. The void bullet expanded as usual, but this time, it left a scorched mark on the ground.
Nathan used his teleportation to reach Frequency and smashed him from above, but Frequency skillfully twisted his body so that he could put his sword above him to block the punch.
Bam!
The clash between the fist and the sword caused so much destruction that no one could come close. No matter whether they wanted to kill Frequency or not, they knew it would be impossible to reach him without suffering any injuries.
Nathan and Frequency were not planning to lose to each other.
At the same time, Nathanâs familiars were dominating their respective battles.
Xolotl was facing the zombie that produced the sound ability. In the past, he had a hard time against him since he lacked ena. Now that he had unlocked the next level of divinity, the zombie needed to use everything he had to endure Xolotlâs relentless attack.
The same applied to the familiar that fought against Garuda. Garuda specialized in speed, so he was even more troublesome than Xolotl.
Garuda could cover a huge distance in an instant with his speed, causing his attack to be unpredictable.
If there was one familiar who could defeat their opponent the fastest, it would probably be Garuda.
More importantly, Garuda also had other things than just his speed. He was an all-rounder whom Nathan believed would be the perfect addition to their group.
Fenrir and the others were also doing their best, but as one would expect from Frequencyâs familiars, they were a bit hard to defeat even though the difference in strength was already clear.
Nathan was also waiting for them to finish, but it looked like he should finish this battle first. After all, he had prepared a lot of things for Frequency.
Frequency stared at Nathan with a solemn expression. "It looks like you are adamant to kill us. I understand why you are the chosen one, but I donât know why you would do something like this. In the end, our goal is the same. Itâs for humanityâs survival."
Nathan squinted his eyes. While punching him, Nathan replied, "You should already know thatâs not possible, not from this side, but from your side."
"..." Frequency fell silent. It was undeniable. Due to how many people they killed as well as their brutality, reconciliation was not possible.
"I have always wanted to ask you something." Nathanâs expression turned grim. "When you arrived at Gratzel, how many people did you kill? Who was responsible for the banquetâs attack?"
After thinking about their power, Nathan had thought of one possibility. There were two people whom he knew could stop the teleportation ability.
And that was Frequency and Bell Crusher.
However, Bell Crusherâs power might be high, but it wasnât high enough in the past.
On the other hand, Frequency must have been a crystal fusion summoner back then. So, he had enough power to stop the teleportation by himself.
Frequency simply asked, "Is that really important?"
"What do you think?" Nathan smiled.
Frequency paused for a moment before saying, "While itâs true that you are our miscalculation, you have also miscalculated something. You have underestimated our fatherâs power."
"I donât think I have underestimated him."
"Really?" Frequency smiled. "Father."
As soon as he called his father, even with a low voice, a sudden eruption of ena occurred in the middle of the city.
"!!!" Nathan tilted his head to the side, watching what happened.
He could see the Godfather standing in the air. On his back looked like a pair of wings, but these wings were not made from crystal fusion. Instead, it was made of black cell.
"Death from above." The Godfather raised his wand.
A huge mass of ena formed in the sky and expanded like a plate.
This lump of energy turned from purple to black and changed its shape into falling rain.
"!!!" Nathan couldnât help but widen his eyes because he heard the conversation of his familiars.
"Oi. Thatâs not good. That amount of rules. If it falls down to the ground, it will be catastrophic for our troops."
"Kun?!"
"I wonât be able to join the fight anymore if I take that hit to cover everyone. If you are sure, Iâll go."
Of course, there was no way Luna and Evelyn wouldnât react.
Luna also formed a massive magic circle to create an umbrella for everyone, while Evelyn was activating her domain to direct the rain of energy into the umbrella so that nothing would drop on their people.
"I see. As expected, this will be your plan." Nathan muttered. "To kill the people inside the city."
Frequency scoffed. "Thatâs why you shouldnât push someone into a corner."
"You are more talkative than I originally thought." Nathan snorted. In the past, Frequency didnât say much when he was hunting him, but it looked like they had really pushed him to the edge so that he couldnât help but say it directly.
But Nathan had expected it to a certain extent.
The moment he saw this attack, he immediately instructed the two familiars, who hadnât made a single comment about this ability.
"Go, Xolotl, Garuda."
"Got it." Xolotl smiled. "I let you do it because I want to conserve my strength to fight that guy later."
"I donât care about it, Brother. As long as Master wins, thatâs all that matters," Garuda harrumphed.
Now that Nathan had given the signal, Garuda immediately took off into the sky.
"Where are you going?" His opponent tried to stop him, but suddenly a bolt of black lightning came from the side, stopping him.
Garuda tossed the umbrella into the sky as the umbrella expanded rapidly, growing to the size of the magic circle that Luna had made.
"World Dome."
