Luna was whipping both Flora and Sera into shape. The same thing happened to Alavenya.
Vivian and Bella had already figured out what they had to do on the battlefield. However, it was different for Alavenya.
Evelyn crossed her arms, watching Alavenya punch forward. Her punch generated a massive amount of power that destroyed all the aliens in the front.
However, Evelyn looked a bit disappointed.
She thought because her father was the Dragon King, Alavenyaâs power would be much more refined.
But it looked like the Dragon King didnât advise her so much.
"Why are you trying to fight like a man?" Evelyn asked.
"Huh?" Alavenya was bewildered, not expecting such a comment from Evelyn.
"You know what Iâm talking about. Your movements are rather stiff. Iâm not going to tell you about unnecessary things like whether a woman is stronger than a man whatsoever, but biologically, a man is indeed stiffer and generates more power.
"On the other hand, women have their advantages, such as flexibility and the delicate balance of power.
"What you are doing is like using a shoe on your hand. Just because you punch it hard enough doesnât mean you have used 100% of your power. It also doesnât mean thatâs your strongest power."
"What do you mean?" Alavenya was bewildered. She was already aware of this biological explanation. That was why she planned to recreate her body structure to adapt to the extreme requirements of the Dragon Martial Arts.
"What I mean is stop using your power in such a crude way." Evelyn turned to the side and pulled her fist. "See the difference between these two punches."
The first punch contained momentum and strength like Alavenyaâs punch. It produced a thunderclap from the burst of its energy alone. Of course, the power it contained also surpassed Alavenyaâs punch easily.
However, she then proceeded with the second punch.
This punch didnât carry the strength like earlier. The momentum didnât originate from the swing of the fist. Rather, it came from the flow of energy.
It produced a thunderclap again, but this time, the thunderclap was much more explosive, causing Alavenya to instinctively close one eye because of the ringing pain in her ears.
"Did you see the difference?" Evelyn asked.
Alavenya gulped down. "Iâm sorry... Iâm not entirely sure."
She was a bit too unfamiliar with the sequence, so she couldnât really explain it in words.
Evelyn explained, "Due to the stiffness of their muscles, a man can produce massive strength. However, they will have a hard time moving the delicate energy through their muscles.
"Meanwhile, our muscles allow that delicate task. Just because I say it is delicate doesnât mean it canât produce the same amount of power.
"Now, try punching again. This time, I want you to move your energy the way I tell you."
Alavenya raised her stance. She didnât fully understand yet, but Evelyn gave her specific instructions on each step.
Then, when she finally released her power, the dragon produced by the Dragon Fist roared like a volcanic eruption.
It carried more power than the previous Dragon Fist. In addition, her hand didnât hurt at all.
Before, her hand would be hurt, then healed by the regenerative ability she received from Xing Tian. But this time, there was no such backlash.
"!!!" Alavenya widened her eyes. It was true that she didnât do what Evelyn wanted perfectly, but even with that flawed execution, the power she generated was higher and the backlash was gone.
Alavenya suddenly realized what was going on.
Her father never actually knew the true problem. Her mother had followed her fatherâs footsteps, which consumed her, not knowing that the path she was walking on never had a solution in the first place.
The only solution was to abandon that path and change it so that it would suit their bodies.
"This..." Alavenya gasped. She never thought the answer would be so simple. "So, I have been doing this wrong the whole time?"
"Pretty much." Evelyn nodded. "This is the first time I have checked your power. Maybe I should have done this much earlier, but itâs not too late. This is probably why Nathan wants you in my group.
"On this trip, Iâm going to fix all the misconceptions you have. Understood?"
"Yes. But... does this mean everything Iâve been doing until now is wrong?"
"Not exactly." Evelyn extended her hand while pulling up her sleeves. "Touch it."
Alavenya frowned and touched her arm, only to realize that her muscles were also polished. They might actually rival her fatherâs.
"Letâs see..." Evelyn looked around. "There should be a small hill in that direction, so we will go there first. Every day, whenever we have free time, how about you join me punching some walls? No energy is allowed."
"Y-Yes! Please!" Alavenyaâs eyes flashed. This was probably the first time she found a proper mentor who could actually point out all her flaws.
"Also, we are going to work on your control as well. It may look like you donât need much control because you are enhancing your body with ena, which is the simplest method, but you are wrong.
"Itâs precisely because itâs simple that you need more control. You have to condense and concentrate that power. If you think you have condensed it to the limit, that means you fail. There is no such thing as limits.
"On this trip, if your so-called Dragon Fist canât obliterate an entire mountain in a single punch, donât say Iâm too heartless." Evelyn smiled.
"A single punch... Can it really reach that level?" Alavenya was baffled. Even her father could only shake a mountain and break a huge part of it. She had never heard of her father destroying a mountain with a single punch.
Evelyn simply gave her an example. She gathered the energy in her fist and condensed it. When Alavenya thought it had reached the limit, the energy then erupted one more time and shrank again, making it look like it had just been compressed.
Then Evelyn punched forward. The massive amount of power burst out of her fist.
Bam!
The ground was shaking violently even though the punch didnât even hit the ground.
Alavenya dropped her jaw to the ground. They were inside a forest, so in front of them were trees.
But the entire area that might stretch over one or two kilometers forward had just been obliterated in a single fist.
And it wasnât even Evelynâs full power, as she didnât even use her Spatial Disaster.
