Koraxa paused for a moment. "We are using the familiars by simply summoning them. There are no special methods, but we do learn from our familiars and get stronger by using that method."
Koraxa suddenly raised his eyebrows. "Judging from your expression, it looks like you are doing the same thing. No, your expression has just changed. Doesnât that mean youâre not from Erendtall?"
"I believe Iâve been showing you my poker face." Nathan smiled wryly.
"Hahaha, pardon me. I have been using this unique power ever since I was born. So, when I sense danger, I canât help but look at the people who give me that sensation more carefully. I observe their gestures, their expressions, and even their actions to figure out why I sense the danger. So, even the slightest change canât escape my eyes. "All right." Nathan agreed. "You know about the four continents, right?"
"Myrall, Erendtall, Qion, and Gratzel."
"Yes. I came from Gratzel, but I do have a good relationship with Erendtall. So, I believe the people in Erendtall will accept you. Even if they wonât, in the worst-case scenario, I will bring you to Gratzel and you will be able to live fine."
"I see." Koraxa nodded with a serious expression.
"In Gratzel, weâre using familiars and even have a unique link that allows us to borrow the power of the familiar. Thanks to the relationship with our familiars, weâre able to do a lot more things, such as learning to forge from the dwarves and so on.
"In Erendtall, youâre able to form another unique link with your familiar and fuse with one of them, so your power will combine and youâll get stronger. What I want to know is whether you have anything special on this continent?"
Koraxa closed his eyes in understanding. "I think itâs better to show it to you directly, so please donât get startled."
Nathan smiled. "Sure."
Koraxa raised his hand and showed his fist. Suddenly, a crest formed on the back of his fist. Then, a bigger crest appeared behind him.
"This is the Summoning Crest. The way we utilize our power might be similar to you from Gratzel. We use this Summoning Crest to borrow the power of our familiar. If you are willing to trade the information, I can accept it immediately."
"Sure." Nathan took out a notebook. "Ever since I did the trade with the people in Erendtall, I was already prepared for this kind of situation."
"Fair enough." Koraxa chuckled. "We could borrow their power like this and even amplify it. This crest is formed by the link you have with your familiar. If your familiar has a certain skill, you can borrow that skill directly."
"Oh?!" Nathan raised his eyebrows. This was actually much more powerful than he thought. "Does this method allow you to borrow abilities from all your familiars?"
"Yes. This crest is the condensation of the summoning link. As long as youâre able to condense the link with all your familiars, you will be able to do it. But I have to warn you that even I canât do more than three familiars.

Koraxa shook his head. "Unfortunately, this power couldnât do such a thing. No wonder you can travel all the way here. You must have reached that level..."
Nathan just smiled.
"I will get the details about this power and give it to you. How about we continue the discussion at my place?"
"Sure. We still have time for now. So, you can probably relocate first and start researching our powers."
"Sounds like a good idea." Koraxa agreed. While walking, he asked, "What about the other goals?"
Nathan raised two fingers. "The second goal is pretty simple. I need to confirm what happened to this place, especially after the eruption. And I need to know the entire condition of the continent, so I plan to fly to the south."
Koraxa nodded. He felt bad that because of them, Nathan had to relocate them first. Still, he didnât say anything because he wanted to be relocated, not just for himself.
"As for the third goal, weâre trying to find evolution materials here. Even if theyâre normal plants or anything, as long as theyâre good for healing or can be used as an evolution material, they will be useful. If you have a record like that or maybe you know a place that contains such a record, I hope you donât mind sharing it with me."
Koraxa agreed without hesitation. "I donât mind actually. Theyâre useless to us now, but if it can help you, sure. All right, letâs continue with your questions."
"I think thereâs no need for more questions between us." Nathan smiled.
Koraxa was surprised, but he actually had the same opinion. Now that they understood each other more, they realized that it would only be better if both sides shared their information to make the cooperation go smoothly.
