Chapter 355: Who are you?

Two days ago, Essora gave Arabel a slave collar to put on Idan, her “toy”, so as not to arouse suspicion while moving around the city.

What followed was just an acting game that they played out in front of Erza to achieve what they wanted.

Idan had discussed with Arabel beforehand that if they found the awakened ones, they wouldn’t worry about the remaining System Points, but would upgrade their storage in hopes of being able to store living beings in it.

After Arabel’s success in Erza’s mansion, Idan stood up and pulled out the Sphere of Secret Concealment with a wave of his hand. It completely enveloped the space inside the cage, hiding everything that was happening inside.

“It’s time to act,” Idan said, removing the slave’s collar.

His words, spoken aloud, attracted the attention of the other awakened ones in the cage. Their eyes first fell on the glowing, painfully familiar sphere next to the newbie, and then they were surprised to see the newbie calmly removing the slave’s collar from his neck.

Under the astonished gazes of the awakened, Idan, without explaining anything, put his Soul Power into the ring and, with a wave of his hand, opened the Access Door leading to his and Arabel’s spatial storage.

The Awakened ones were shocked by what was happening and could not utter a word. Most of them had already despaired and had no hope of salvation. However, what was happening right in front of their eyes both shocked and gave them some hope.

“If you don’t want to stay here, then hurry inside,” Idan said, glancing at the awakened ones.

But no one moved.

“Who are you?” the leader of the Wings of Freedom guild asked, gathering his thoughts.

Instead of answering, Idan asked his own question:

“Who am I?”

Then he took out a Ghost Mask from the storage and put it on right in front of all the awakened ones. His appearance instantly changed: instead of an attractive young man with short black hair and brown eyes, another man with long blond hair and blue eyes appeared.

“Ah!” several awakened ones exclaimed, recognizing him as the same young man who had come to the village with the girl last time and tried to save them.

“It’s you!” the Red Sails Guild leader exclaimed after recognizing Idan.

“Well, since you’ve found out, then let’s get moving and come inside. We don’t have much time until the locals find out what’s going on,” Idan said, and immediately after he did, everyone started moving and one by one began to enter the vault.

“I can’t believe you really came for us…” said the Leader of the Wings of Freedom, approaching Idan with the Leader of the Red Sails.

“Well, it’s not just me,” Idan replied with a smile, and seeing his smile, the other party immediately understood everything.

“Did she come too?” he asked in surprise.

“Yes, she’s here, but she’s in a different place now,” Idan confirmed.

The two guild leaders reverently remembered the beauty who had come to their aid first, like a goddess descending from heaven. They were amazed by the strength she displayed and couldn’t help but envy the guy in front of them.

They heard his words addressed to Erza Dusk very well, and saw how he looked boldly into her eyes without feeling fear.

“You’re really lucky with your girlfriend…” the leader of the Red Sails began, but before he finished, he looked at Idan.

“Ethan, — Idan introduced himself, using an assumed name.

“You’re really lucky to have a girlfriend, Ethan,” the Red Sails leader repeated, playing along with Idan. The leader of the Red Sails and the leader of the Wings of Freedom, and several other awakened ones clearly heard him introduce himself as Idan Fein in front of that Erza.

“Yes, you’re really lucky to have her. But considering your strength, I can tell that she’s lucky to have you too,” the Wings of Freedom leader said with a smile.

“Yes, I know I’m very lucky to have her,” Idan replied.

When only the two leaders remained, they nodded to Idan and wasted no time entering the spatial storage.

When everyone entered, Idan, who was about to close the Access Door, suddenly stopped.

“Is it possible?” An unexpected thought flashed through his mind.

To test his guess, with a wave of his hand, he pulled out the unconscious heir of the Dark Beast Territory from the storage.

There was no need to open the Access Door to get someone out of the spatial storage. Idan and Arabel could pull them out like normal things next to them.

When the unconscious heir fell to the floor in front of Idan, Idan took off the Ghost Mask and turned his attention to it, remembering Milica’s words.

After examining the Ghost Mask, Milica told Arabel that this artifact had some other hidden ability. However, no matter how much she studied the Mask, she couldn’t figure out what kind of ability it was.

Arabel didn’t know it either, and the “Identification Eye”, to the couple’s surprise, couldn’t give any information about the Ghost Mask other than its name, and then only if it wasn’t worn on their faces.

“What if it works?” Idan asked himself and, crouching down next to the heir, applied his Ghost Mask to heir face.

But when he was about to remove the Mask from the heir’s face, something amazing happened: the featureless surface began to transform, and the familiar outlines of the Heir of the Dark Beast Territory appeared on it.

Surprised, Idan immediately got up, took another look at the changed Ghost Mask, put it on, and his appearance began to change. Not only his face had changed, but also his body structure.

His black hair became even darker and longer, two horns appeared on his head, and his eyes turned black.

Idan’s appearance now completely matched the image of the heir to the territory of the Dark Beasts. Not only had his appearance changed, but the aura surrounding him had become indistinguishable from that of the real heir.

“Hehehe,” Idan smiled broadly, finding a new and amazing use for the Ghost Mask.
