"But you said you wanted to make a contract with her, didnât you?" Arabel asked, looking at Elira again.
"Initially, yes," Idan replied, not hiding his thoughts. "I think sheâs a great option for my Third Star, but she refused my offer, and I donât want to force her into a contract."
Hearing this, Elira frowned. She had no desire to sign a contract with this guy.
"I agree," Irene interjected. "We still donât fully understand how the Path of the Beast Tamer works and what consequences can arise if a contract is forcibly concluded. It is best that it be concluded by mutual agreement of both parties."
"Besides, the forced conclusion of a contract with intelligent beings is like slavery," she added.
"Irene is right," â Arabel agreed.
"Then let me go," Elira demanded, and all three of them looked at her like she was a fool.
"Iâm sorry, but youâre not going anywhere yet," Idan said. "But we wonât restrict you while youâre in this place, either. Be our guest."
Irene and Arabel nodded in agreement with Idan.
Elira was unhappy and angry, but she knew that she couldnât do anything against them. This guy had already proved his strength by kidnapping her.
"What do you really want from me? And where are we?" she asked. Although Elira was an intelligent bird, she was not stupid.
The three of them exchanged glances, and Idan decided to ask the question he wanted to know.
"First, answer the question: how are you related to that old man Hans and the Blake family? And what did you want from Anessa?"
Elira remained silent, and Idan, Irene, and Arabel saw that she did not want to answer.
"Letâs go back," Idan said. "Letâs give her some time."
"Okay," Arabel agreed, and Irene didnât mind either.
"Wait," Elira called out before they disappeared.
"At least tell me where I am," she said.
"Youâre in the Kingdom Guildâs private territory," Arabel said.
"Letâs take her with us,"
Irene offered through the Soul Force.
"Letâs show her this place. Maybe after seeing everything with her own eyes and spending a little time with us, she will become more talkative."
After some thought, Idan agreed, and then all four disappeared and appeared in front of a two-story house.
Elira was slightly shocked when she found out where she was. She was abducted by members of the mysterious Kingdom guild, which she, as a resident of another world, was well aware of.
According to rumors, it was two members of this guild who were able to defeat two Rank 5 creatures that were two ranks above them. And even the world itself seemed to have come to their aid in this battle.
This event was known to all outsiders, and it served as a reminder that the world is not defenseless and that there are hidden beings in it who are able to stand up for themselves and protect their home. This made them all be more careful.
All of them were also eager to get more information about this Mysterious Guild. And it just so happened that Elira found herself in the very center of events, having been abducted by them. Despite her fear, she realized that this might be her chance to learn more about this Guild.
While Elira was lost in her thoughts, she suddenly heard a womanâs scream, which slightly startled her.
"Idan!" â Inessa exclaimed when she saw the groupâs appearance. Among them, she immediately noticed the only guy who had brought her here, and she quickly rushed to him.
When Idan heard his name, he looked at Inessa and did not make a single move, either dodging or rushing forward.
Inessa hugged him and started crying. Idan just stood there, looking at this woman who was his birth mother, and trying to figure out how he felt about her.
But no matter how he looked at her, Idan didnât feel any strong emotions.
Earlier, he was amazed when he found out that she was alive, and wondered the questions that came flooding back to him. But now he saw her as just a stranger.
Yes, Idan was grateful to her for giving birth to him, but nothing more.
When he was growing up, she wasnât around, and he didnât know anything about her.
Less than a week later, Idan found out that his mother, whom he had considered his mother all his life, turned out to be his aunt.
Now, looking at his mother, who was hugging him and crying, he only felt awkward.
Lifting his head and looking at Ivette, who was standing to the side with his new younger sister Ina and smiling, Idan experienced more emotions than when looking at his own mother.
At that moment, he thought about whose blessing he would prefer to receive himself.
The blessing of his own mother, whom he hardly saw and who did not take part in his life, or the one who, even if she was not perfect, was always by his side.
Ivette and Adam never told him that he was adopted. Even when Idan was moody and behaved badly, they didnât beat or scold him much.
And even though they loved Irene, their daughter, more, they always took care of him.
They helped him grow up in a full-fledged family, and it was thanks to them that he became who he became.
"Really",
â Idan thought.
"If I wanted to, Iâd rather get their blessing than that of someone I didnât know."
And when Idan accepted it for himself, a notification popped up in front of him.
[Ding! The foster motherâs blessing has been received.]
[Ding! Since the Hostâs foster father is in ???, this part of the task will be considered completed.]
[Ding! The second task "Introduce your girlfriend to your parents and receive their blessing" has been completed.]
Idan stared at the System window in disbelief.
"Was it really that simple?"
â He thought.
And then a new notification appeared in front of him and Arabel.
[Ding! The third task from the chain is available: "To hold a wedding ceremony and get married, officially becoming husband and wife."]
After reading this, Idan and Arabel looked at each other, unable to believe that their relationship had almost reached this stage of their lives.
