"Then please take care of my daughter, Xin'Er, chat with Chairman Ye for a bit while I prepare something to eat," Zhang Peitang wasn't in a rush to have Ye Hao test him at dinner.
"Okay, Dad, go ahead!" Zhang Kexin nodded.
After Zhang Peitang left, a trace of awkwardness showed on Zhang Kexin's face, appearing like she was recalling her night with Ye Hao.
Seeing this, Ye Hao explained, "Miss Zhang, about that night, we..."

"Haha, fortunately I didn't, or my life would be ruined by you." Ye Hao laughed.
"What do you mean?" Zhang Kexin snapped, glaring at Ye Hao.
"Nothing." Ye Hao shook his head, smiling. Even if he explained Innate Realm and not breaking the Child's status, Zhang Kexin might not understand.

"Did you encounter some difficulties?" Ye Hao suddenly asked.

"Did you figure it out? I knew someone as smart as you would see through it," Zhang Kexin said, half expected, half unexpected.
"Haha, Mr. Zhang mentioned Mrs. Zhang was kidnapped by thugs. You seem to know who did it, right?" Ye Hao asked.
Clenching her teeth, Zhang Kexin nodded and said, "I certainly know. I didn't dare tell my dad because he couldn't save my mom, but now I believe you'll help, right?"
"Of course! It's just a small favor!" Ye Hao laughed.
"My mom was taken by Zhang Pengcheng." Zhang Kexin gritted her teeth.
"Zhang Pengcheng? Who's he?" Ye Hao had forgotten about Zhang Pengcheng, considering how insignificant Zhang Group was, even if acquired by Hao Association.
"Haha, I knew such riffraff wouldn't catch your attention, he's technically my biological father but worse than an animal. To reclaim Zhang Group from Hao Association, he forced me to try and please you, win your favor, and take Zhang Group from you."
