As Learâs thoughts churned, the power of authority slowly penetrated his heart.
He could distinctly feel the tyrannical force circulating within.
It was the personification of rules, the emotions hidden within all creaturesâ feelings.
The Authority of the Swamp touched the Authority of Tyranny, and the tumultuous tyrannical force erupted violently, surging all around.
Lear raised his eyebrows slightly, forcibly utilizing the Swamp Power to suppress the dreadful tyrannical force.
And without constraint, his heart began to pound againâthump thump, thump thump.
With each beat, terrifying power surged out.
Like the source of a perpetual motion machine.
Just as Lear was about to seal his heart.
Crash~ A crack exploded open in the sky.
A dark, evil, tyrannical, abyssal aura seeped through, making oneâs heart tremble.
He suddenly looked up.
At the other end of the rift, on the summit of a peak made of skeletal remains, a dark figure whose appearance was indiscernible stood atop the bones, its blood-red eyes staring into the void.
The Tyrant Monarch.
The supreme being wielding authority, an indisputable Abyssal Evil God!
Upon seeing the heart in Learâs hand, this evil deity breathed rapidly in excitement, eyes blazing.
"My heart..."
A voice trembled and then abruptly turned to look at him.
"Human, what you hold in your hand is my heart. I can trade it with you for a Divine Artifact or any Treasure you desire..."
Though the words were of an exchange, the tone was nearly a mad plea.
The desire in the eyes nearly overflowed the abyss.
On hearing this, Lear chuckled slightly.
"A childâs play. Before saying those words, why not stop tearing space with your hands first..."
An Evil God wielding the Authority of Tyranny, begging?
Even acting canât they find something they can manage...
The Tyrant Monarchâs eyes froze, and the atmosphere instantly turned icy.
"Human, I donât know how you managed to control the Swampâs power so quickly."
"But, if you wish to become my enemy, then I can only say... you are courting death."
"Hand over the heart, and I will cease seeking revenge against you!"
Lear lost interest in the conversation.
The grudge with the other party had been formed last time, and now Kalanis still held part of the Authority of Tyranny.
Trust a demonâs promise?
Might as well catch some serious illness.
"Heh..."
The smirk made the Tyrant Monarchâs fury surge instantly.
This was more unbearable than direct mockery or insult.
How dare a mere human, who just luckily gained the Swampâs power, disregard him in this way?!
"You deserve to die!!"
The rebuke from the Tyrant Monarch fell.
Crash~
The space ahead shattered once more.
A tentacle, oozing black slime like an octopus, violently tore through space, coming at Lear.
The tentacle emitted an extremely terrifying and daunting power, distorting the surrounding space.
But the moment the tentacle appeared, the surroundings turned viscous, creating massive resistance.
For each inch it advanced, the tentacle had to exert ten times the strength.
Though it stretched just over ten meters, it could move no further!
Lear stood still.
Trying to strike in the swamp?
Looking at the dark figure atop the White Bone Peak.
"Is this your backup plan?"
Hearing this calm voice, the Tyrant Monarch felt utterly stifled and vexed.
The Swamp Power controlled by this human had reached such a level!
Fear and dread filled his heart. In such a short time... Last time, the man could barely handle a bit of Swamp Power.
Now, it was as if he wielded it with ease!!
"Worm... you will regret this!"
Sensing he could no longer act within the swamp, after a furious roar, he prepared to retract the tentacle.
But at that moment, the Tyrant Monarchâs heart quaked wildly, and he looked up.
A terrifying, sky-shattering battle intent burst forth!
Clang~
The sound of metal clashing reverberated through the sky.
Slash~
Flesh and blood exploded abruptly.
The dark octopus tentacle was severed at the base, a piercing wail coming from afar...
The Tyrant Monarchâs blood-red eyes radiated icy killing intent.
"You shall die!!"
But did not see any response from the human, who merely waved a calm and undisturbed hand.
The terrifying forces around compressed down, eradicating the spatial rift directly.
The Tyrant Monarch looked at the now peaceful void, and howled hysterically.
"He must die, he must die!!!!"
The swamp had returned to calm once more.
Only a black octopus tentacle continued to twitch on the ground, churning up large mud pits in the farmland.
Lear waved a hand, and the tentacle was lifted into the air.
Sensing it closely, his gaze showed some delight.
Though this tentacle was not the Tyrant Monarchâs limb, it was still a body part of a Divine Life.
It contained a faint shred of divinity and terrifying flesh energy.
Though not comparable to the Abyss Dukeâs flesh obtained earlier, it was nonetheless an extremely rare Treasure.
As he pondered, his gaze turned to the still suffering Haggs.
This poor kid... Already in such suffering, adding a bit more wouldnât hurt, would it?
The power of authority surged, and the writhing ten-meter-long tentacle was transformed directly into flesh energy by supreme power, rolling back and pouring into Haggs.
It all fused into his body.
Aaah!!!
Haggs immediately let out a joyous shout, making the nearby farmers shudder with unease.
"Heavens, Iâve seen a criminal carved bit by bit, and even they didnât scream this horribly..."
Haggsâ body twisted, his expression exceptionally grotesque, the veins on his neck writhing like small serpents.
